Just 200 metres from the grounds of the incredible Blenheim Place (a world heritage site and birthplace of Winston Churchill) and on the doorstep of the Cotswolds, Little Brightside is the perfect location for your weekend break. Within easy reach of the M40 and A34, Little Brightside is in the picturesque town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. You will be equidistant from Oxford, Bicester Village and the Soho Farmhouse. You will have exclusive access to the en-suite room guest annex which has its own entrance and was fully refurbished in 2020. With a king bed, top spec bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of storage you will have everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We are available in the main house should you have any questions, but we are also extremely mindful of guest privacy. Little Brightside is the perfect location from which to explore Oxford and the Cotswolds. With Blenheim Palace on our doorstep, Bicester Village and Soho Farmhouse just 15 minutes up the road and the many wonderful villages of the Cotswolds within easy reach, you will have a multitude of options to keep you busy during your stay. The Black Prince Public House is a 5 minute walk away - infamous for its role in Inspector Morse’s Last Bus to Woodstock (Dexter’s first Morse novel). Little Brightside comes with one off street parking space. There is also a bus stop 50m from Little Brightside with buses going into Oxford in one direction and Chipping Norton in the other. Both Long Hanborough (from Paddington) and Oxford Parkway (from Marylebone) train stations are close by making it easy to get to and from Little Brightside. There are numerous excellent pubs and restaurants in Woodstock, Oxford and local villages which we can highly recommend. As such, Little Brightside does not have any cooking facilities. A kettle, tea, Nespresso coffee machine, pods and fresh milk will be provided. We can arrange for fresh French breakfast pastries from our local boulangerie to be delivered for a small additional fee per guest.
