The Coach House
The Coach House, Balsall Common village location, conveniently located by Sainsbury’s Local and Beefeater pub. Perfect location for the NEC, Birmingham Business Park and Airport (10 minutes drive away). Berkswell rail station is 15 mins walk (or 2 mins drive) with direct train (two trains an hour during the week) service to Birmingham, NEC, Coventry and London. Easy access the M6 & M42. It is ideal for business travellers working in the area or couples visiting the Midlands area. A charming beamed self contained converted Coach House, with vaulted ceiling, giving light, spacious and airy accommodation. When you enter the property you are straight into the lounge/kitchen room. The kitchen facilities include a 4 hob induction hob cooker and oven, a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge with small freezer compartment and storage. The lounge/kitchen area looks onto the driveway and side garden. There is also a TV and small table with 2 chairs (2 additional non matching chairs/stools can be added for bookings of up to 4 people, please request these). The living area has a comfortable sofa which converts into a small double bed if required. The bedroom is accessed via a decorate glass walk through (and is thus open plan with the living area). There is a double bed with two bedside tables and a small wardrobe. Please note there is no door to the bed room. A high chair and a travel cot can be provided (though no linen is provided for the travel cot). Please request these items if required. There is one small shower room. Towels are provided. Free, password protected, Wifi is available throughout the Coach House. The Coach House is situated in the main property’s garden, accessed via a gravel driveway. I am available to answer any questions 24/7 on my mobile, and in most instances myself or my husband will be next door in the main property during your stay. We leave the keys in a PIN operated key box outside the property for self check in (and check out). Private car parking space is available for one car in front of the property on the driveway shared with the main property (my house). There is parking in the pub next door for additional cars. The property is situated on the main road that goes through Balsall Common village, and road traffic noise can be heard from within the Coach House. The traffic is worse in rush hours. The pub next door is not noisy (a Beefeater attached to a Premier Inn) and is great if you fancy a cooked breakfast or lunch/dinner practically “on site”. There is a Sainsbury’s petrol station and Sainsbury’s Local shop (open 7am to 11pm) in front for picking up supplies and the village also has 3 curry houses, a fish n chips shop, a Chinese takeaway, a pizza takeaway and other good pubs within walking distance and/or short drives away. This is a no smoking property but small house trained pets are permitted. Earlier check in is sometimes possible.
