The simphony of the colors near Terme Čatež

My place is close to public transport, the city center, the airport, and art and culture. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Čatež ob Savi-where the good waters found their home. Our appartments are located in small town Čatež, under the famous hill of Sveti Vid , nearby where the longest slowenian river Sava and and lazy karst river Krka find each other. In our kingdom of water you can also find healthy Thermal spas and funy water parks. The nearest and most famous waterpark Terme Čatež is only 1,5 km far from our appartments. Our colorfull appartments are equiped with all you need for your stay. There is a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and a stove with owen. There is also table with chairs, sofa, big screen TV with satelite programs and DVD player. The place is air-conditioned and has central heating. The bedrooms are separate from other rooms. Outside is a wooden terace with table and chairs and a grill for our guests.The place is also easily accessible for the disabled. Free parking is just in the front of the appartment. Our guest can also use our private wellness area for reduced price. In the same house is also a litle grocery shop for emergency purchases. Catez - a water tale Behind the nine rivers and nine mountains, just where the two sisters, the torrential Sava and the subdued green Krka, hold their hands together, where the last of the green hills descend in vast Pannonian lowlands, right there lives Catez. He looks like a man, but he has horns and furry hooved feet and a short tail. He lives in the vast forests under St.Vid, stalking the beautiful mountain fairies and annoying mischievous forest dwarfs. At the sunsets he sits on a massive rock over the undulating Sava and observes the world around. Nobody knows where its mouth is and he has not been seen by anyone for a long time, but older people can tell, that they saw him seeking the springs of healing, warm water, soaking in them and exploring the sources of drinking water in the woods. He gathers forest fruits for lumberjacks, brings herbs to the people of the village under the old church of St. Vid, the village that is compressed at the mighty Šentvid mountain, to help them when they find themselves in troubles. Visit us and become part of the story as well, and we will do our best to make you want to return to us and who knows, maybe Catez appears when you walk or cycle to discover his country. We will be happy to help our guests with informations about narrover surroundings and the wider region. Čatež ob Savi is a quiet villagge, the most famous are our Terme Čatež, the bigest water park in Slovenia with the summer and the winter riviera. In Čatež you can find the pleasant restaurants, a little grocery shop, you can ride horses or enjoy walking on Čatež energy walk path to the churh of the Sveti Vid, you can cycle around the area ore paddle on the river. The nearest town Brežice with the super markets, restaurants,bars, museum, hospital, banks is only 2 kom away. Čatež is well known on food and specialy of good wines. The must see Slovenian ( Postojna and Škocjan caves, Bled and Bohinj, Ljubljana,Slovenian coast...) and Croatian destinations ( Plitvice lakes, Zagreb city centre...) are easily reached in not more than two hours on the higway. Our place is sittuated just 1 km from the exit Čatež on the higway Ljubljana -Zagreb. The capital of Slovenia Ljubljana is only one hour away, the capital of Croatia Zagreb is only half hour away, also the airport Ljubljana is sittuated a little more than one hour and the Zagreb airport a litttle more than half hour. Also is no problem with taxi service. In our kingdom of the water you can drink the water from the tap, the cleannlines of the river allows you that you can swim in the river or in different kind of pools You can also padlle or SUP on the river, or you can surf on the lake. There are beautifull places for fishing and hunting.
