The annexe is a cosy oasis hidden in the heart of central Winchester. It’s a completely private en-suite bedroom in a quiet leafy cul-de-sac. The theatre and many of Winchester’s best restaurants are right on your doorstep. The train station and High Street are a 5 minute walk away. 5 minutes in the other direction and you can be in Winnall Moors nature reserve. The annexe is compact yet perfectly equipped to provide the comfort and amenities you need to enjoy your short break. A comfortable double bed with crisp clean linen and towels are provided. The space alongside the bed is clean and open with a fold out table and chairs, perfect for dining or use as a desk. The annexe benefits from an en-suite shower room. Alongside the en-suite is a built in cupboard with hanging, storage space and a small fridge. On arrival you will find milk, tea & coffee and some complimentary breakfast items. Entirely self contained the first floor ensuite bedroom has a private entrance accessed via an external spiral staircase - unfortunately the annexe is not accessible for those with limited mobility. No parking is available on site, however the train station and centre of town are very close. Worthy Lane car park is a 6 minute walk away and 24 hours parking is available there for £7.30. Alternatively JustPark app sometimes has some good value parking options nearby. Being entirely self contained you can check into the annexe at your leisure, however we do ask that you respect our neighbours if coming or going late at night. Your hosts, Marie and Mark live a stones throw away so are available should you need us. We’re more than happy to give tips on the best spots to make the most of your stay. The annexe is right in the centre of Winchester, but it doesn't feel or sound like a city centre location. Marston Gate is a quiet leafy cul-de-sac situated right alongside the earth bank of the ancient city wall which provides privacy and seclusion despite being just over the road from the Theater and some of the cities best bars and restaurants. The train station and High Street are a 5 minute walk away. 5 minutes walk in the other direction past the River Park leisure centre and you can be in Winnall Moors nature reserve a beautiful spot for a walk along the river bank and over boardwalks laid in amongst the reeds. No parking is available on site, however the train station and centre of town are very close. Worthy Lane car park is a 6 minute walk away and 24 hours parking is available for £7 or a 7 day ticket is £25. Both 7 day and 24 hour tickets can be purchased from the car park machine on site or by phone. The closest car park is St Peters Street (3 min walk). It is more expensive than Worthy Lane (£15 per day). All council operated car parks in Winchester are free on Sundays (including St Peters Street & Worthy Lane). No Parking on site (cheap parking a short walk away) Private entrance via spiral stairs - not suitable for those with limited mobility.
