We are located in a great position just a short walk across the road to the cliff Top with stunning views of the Isle of Wight and its famous Needles, and in the opposite direction Hengistbury Head, Christchurch harbour and the Purbecks beyond. We have wonderful coastal walks and are close to the New Forest National Park and Lymington, a Georgian town known for its great sailing, shops, boutiques, cafes and popular Saturday market. Historic Christchurch with it's Monday market and many cafes and pubs is within a short drive. We are equal distance between Bournemouth and Southampton. New Milton, Barton's neighbouring town has a main line railway station with fast connection to London Waterloo. There are excellent bus routes to Bournemouth and Southampton and trips around the New Forest area on their open top blue route bus.
