The Mews House offers a compact and cosy, home from home for a relaxing break or for a business stay. We welcome couples and single guests. Snuggle up with the wood burner on the chilly evenings. A few miles from the Cotswold Water Park, a great holiday destination with many activities & walking and 10 mins from the market towns of Cirencester, Malmesbury & Tetbury. We have plenty of parking and locked storage space if required for sports equipment etc. We have a second Airbnb self contained apartment attached to The Mews House, so you may be sharing the driveway and garden area with another couple, and we ask all guests to be mindful of this. The Mews House is a cosy space, and in order to get the right pictures, we have used a wide angle lens for some of them. In order to get everything you need into this space, there are a few things to note: The mezzanine area (the bedroom) has lower headroom on one side of the bed and the stairs are steeper than you might be used to, and only has a wall side handrail. • Welcome pack on arrival • Luxury walk in shower/wet room with towels provided • 43" TV with freeview (there is an Amazon firestick which if you have an account gives access to online streaming) • WiFi and all utilities included • Wooden Flooring in the bedroom, and underfloor heating downstairs • Kingsize bed with luxury bedding and linens • Woodburner to cosy up with, some kindling and logs provided • Weekly clean – Additional cleans can be arranged for longer stays • Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and freezer compartment • Off road, secure car parking • Storage can be made available for sports equipment • Nespresso coffee machine • Sleeps 2 adults Guests are welcome to use our walled garden area for sitting out or using the BBQ (you will need to bring coal!). We live in the main house just across the courtyard, and one of us is usually around if you need anything. However, we like to leave you to it and you can come and go via the gated entrance which is shared with guests staying at The Coach House. We are situated just outside the village of Minety, which has a pub (technically next door, although it is a few minutes walk down the road!) and its own community shop, where you can get all the essentials, bread, milk, chocolate, alcohol etc. A larger village store in Ashton Keynes is 2.5m miles away. The thriving market town of Cirencester which dates back to Roman times, is just 9 miles away. Offering a twice weekly market, a Waitrose supermarket, and a range of boutique shops, there is also an outdoor swimming pool (open May to September). The charming towns of Bath and Cheltenham are both also within easy reach. The Cotswold Water Park is just 6 miles away, and with 150 lakes set over 40 square miles, it offers a wide variety of water sports, a beach, various restaurants and picnic areas. There is also a cycle hire centre. There are a huge range of amazing restaurants and country pubs nearby. The M4 is accessible at J16 (Swindon West), 10 miles away via Royal Wootten Bassett. Trains from Kemble’s mainline station 9 miles away will get you to London Paddington in just 80 minutes. Local buses run through Minety village. We are committed to the cleaning protocol recommended by Airbnb in light of the Covid 19 pandemic. We have moved our check in time back a little to allow for a complete 3 hour gap in between guests and to allow time for a thorough clean and sanitise. We will also provide extra cleaning materials in the apartment including hand sanitiser. Whilst check in is from 4pm and check out is 11am, it may be possible to accommodate an earlier check in (from 2pm) or later check out (to 1pm) times. If it is possible there will be an additional charge of £30, payable prior to arrival.
