Urban living in a rural area

We welcome you to our modern and bright apartment with living room, bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and walk-in wardrobe. The apartment is located centrally in the Rhein-Main area, not far from Frankfurt, the airport and Darmstadt. You can get into Frankfurt city centre by car in merely 35 mins (depending on traffic of course), public transport takes about 55 mins. Darmstadt is only 10 mins away, the airport 20 mins or 50 mins by bus (direct connection!). The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a short or even a longer stay. The bedroom has a very comfortable and new king-size boxspring bed and a small desk. The bed can be separated in two standard sized beds if you prefer separate beds. The living room has a couch, arm chair and tv. The bathroom offers a lovely rain shower and the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer, Nespresso coffee maker and milk frother. The apartment has underfloor heating throughout. We have a comfortable air bed (queen-size) that can accomodate two more guests, which we will set up in the living room for you. Of course we also provide bed linen, towels, soap and shampoo. If you need anything else, just let us know. You have access to fast WiFi internet 25 MBit) that is of course also included in the rate. Two supermarkets are only 5 mins walking distance away. If you need to get some laundry done, we can help you with that too (additional fee). We are excited to welcome you to our house. There's a telephone in the apartment that you can use for free to make calls to landlines and mobiles within Germany. Weiterstadt is located in the heart of the Rhein-Main area. It's famous for its vast asparagus and strawberry fields. Many farm shops provide locally grown fruit and vegetables. A highlight is the asparagus season in May. The apartment is located in a very quiet and safe side street. You can park for free right in front of the house. Just a few minutes walking distance away we have two supermarkets and pharmacies, a bank, post office as well as two GPs (doctors) and a dentist. 5 mins driving distance away you can find literally all big German supermarket chains and discount supermarkets, a hardware store, a garden store, a huge furniture store and the large shopping mall "Loop5". The German Autobahn (motorway/highway) A5 is only a few minutes away (you won't hear it though!). We also have excellent public transport connections to Frankfurt, the airport and to Darmstadt, Mainz and Wiesbaden. The bus stop is 5 mins away from our house and takes you to the airport in 50 mins (direct connection). You can also catch the bus to take you to the train station with fast trains into Frankfurt and the Frankfurt trade fair and exhibition grounds. That'll take about an hour in total. If you fancy a walk in the countryside or want to go for a run you'll have plenty of opportunities. We have vast fields surrounding us, a local recreation area as well as a lovely forest and lakes. Again just a few minutes away is a tennis court and a golf club. If you don't feel like cooking you can sample some of our restaurants and eateries in the village. We have Croatian, Italian, Turkish and German restaurants as well as some local pubs and a beergarden. There's also a local butcher and a bakery. The apartment is a non-smoking flat. However, you can smoke just outside the apartment's door where there's shelter from wind and rain.
