Cosy quirky 1 bedroom holiday cottage with stunning views of the sea with own garden & log burner. Please note bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/bathroom is downstairs. Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins). Whitby is 11 miles away. Self catered cottage. Suitable for couples & 1 dog (2 if small but please enquire) .. £15 extra for each. Fantastic views of the sea. You can walk along the Cleveland Way as the path runs by the cottage (25 mins). Walk to Staithes and Runswick Bay .,. two of the best coastal villages around and where you can find great pubs and places to eat. Please note that the bedroom is in the eaves so has limited head room and is reached by relatively narrow stairs. The bathroom is downstairs. You have a private garden but it does back onto another garden so not completely private. We also have another one bedroom cottage and a four bedroom barn and a games room which might be of interest if you want to have the whole place for a bigger get together. You have your own small garden with table and chairs and a fire pit / bbq. You have a small private garden which is self contained but also backs onto the back garden of the main house and shared parking for house and the cottage. We have two of our own dogs but we also look after dogs so there might be another one or two roaming around but will not be in your garden! The cottage bedroom is in the eaves so headroom is very limited and accessed by a reasonably narrow staircase … so please please bear this in mind when booking as unsuitable for some guests. Bathroom is downstairs. There is Netflix / Bluetooth radio / Wifi. Guests check in is 3pm and check out 10.30am. However, we always offer earlier check ins and late check outs depending on crossovers of guests into the cottage. We are there to help you in any way we can, offer advice on where to go and what to do etc. There is a folder in the cottage with lots of ideas on places to go. You will also receive a welcome pack with goodies and some essentials. Minimum stay is 3 nights. 25% discount for weekly bookings which will automatically show when you book. We also offer discounts of 15% on 5 nights & 20% on 6 night bookings ... please enquire by messaging. One well behaved dog (£15) ... they also need to be housetrained (please enquire if you have two small dogs). No dogs under 6 months. Please note that the bedroom is in the eaves so limited headroom .. and reached by relatively steep stairs. The shower room is downstairs. Boulby sits just outside of Staithes with fabulous views whether the weather is good or bad! The cottage is by the Cleveland Way so great for walkers ... and is in a private area with only two other houses which we live in. Walk to Staithes is about 25 mins approx. (longer on the way back as a little bit is up hill!). You can walk all the way to Whitby on the Cleveland Way. There is a bus stop 2 mins away if you don't want to drive and want to go to Whitby avoiding having to park when very busy (takes 20 mins approx. to Whitby). Or if you are walking the Cleveland Way you can always get the bus back. 10% to 25% for 4 to 7 night stays. 7 nights is automatically accounted for when you book ... but if you want to book 4, 5 or 6, please contact me and i will amend the pricing to account for the discount.
