The garden with its stunning view and beautiful sunsets is fully to your disposal. Here you can sit outside and have a drink, meal or just relax and enjoy the view. Close to overground metro, that easily takes you downtown to the city life in just a short time (with a direct line). The tour is quite romantic itself, with a fantastic view over the Oslo fjord and city. The apartment is a separate part of a private house/villa, with your own entrance at the back of the house. Sleeping facilities/bedroom: Doublebed 160 cm, new from october 2021. With a view to Holmenkollen Skijump. New kitchen that are equipped with a fridge, small freezer, oven and induction top, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, pots, frying pan and other basic kitchen stuff. PS: No dishwasher. WIFI included. There's a 55" flatscreen with Apple TV/Netflix - and the ability to connect to your own PC/Mac if you bring that. Free private parking place in the street, beside our garage. For washing clothes, you will have free access to our laundry room with a separate entrance. Separate entrance on the ground floor with your own key to the apartment, which is a part of a private villa in Holmenkollen, Oslo. Notice: There are some steps from the street and up to the house, therefore not suitable for disabled persons - or if you have small children and are depending on using a stroller. We are more than willing to help you with recommendations about sightseeing, activities, how to get around, booking of restaurants etc. Just ask:) For washing clothes, you will have access to our laundry room. Wonderful area for activities like hiking, skiing (downhill/alpint and cross country skiing), sycling, walking etc. Holmenkollen National Skijump & Arena - the most visited tourist attraction in Norway, the Ski Museum and the nature called "Nordmarka/Oslomarka" is only a short walking distance away, (about 300 meters from apartment). Tryvann/Oslo Winterpark and summer-/climbingpark is also a part of the neighbourhood. Very easy to get to. Citylife with it's restaurants, cafes, shopping, museums and so on are very easy to get to by the overground metro . The metro is only 200 meters (5 minutes walking distance) away, and easily takes you downtown in 20 minutes. The metro tour is a nice trip in itself, with views over the fjord and city. If you want to explore the restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood, you can for example try these: Frognerseteren Cafe and Restaurant, with it's beautiful dragon Norwegian architectural style and fantastic view over the city and fjord. In short walking distance, or easy access with subway or car. The restaurant "De fem stuer" (translated to something like "The five living rooms/lodges") at Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel is only 200 meters away, short walking distance. They offer an international cuisine, in beautiful old majestic lodges with a spectacular view over the fjord and the city. The hotel also have a café, bar, spa, swimmingpool, gym/training facilities etc. Others close by: Holmenkollen Restaurant Lysebu Soria Moria Etc. The metro is close nearby, 200 meters from apartment. It easily takes you downtown in 20-25 minutes, while you can sit back and enjoy the great view over the fjord and the city. Want to see the famous Holmenkollen Ski Festival, the World Cup Biathlon, Skifest & Raw Air, World Cup Nordic or other events? Participate in Oslo Skimarathon, the competition "Toughest" or other events in the neighborhood of Holmenkollen?
