Weaver’s Den has a combined kitchen and living area leading out to an enclosed (dog friendly) garden, with a view across part of the village. You will have a king sized bed, linens, towels, a shower room, hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, WI-FI, sofa, dining table and chairs, as well as outdoor furniture. We also provide you with breakfast items such as tea, coffee, bread, milk, eggs and condiments. There are also a few surprises! The Den isn’t suitable for infants or children. We live next door, so if you need anything please just ask. Netherthong is a village located in the heart of the Holme Valley, named after the river Holme which runs through our beautiful valley. We are a short walk from Holmfirth and just a short drive to the Peak District National Park. We have a village school, a church, a post box and a village shop. We also have a choice of places to eat and drink. The Clothiers Arms is a friendly pub just around the corner from Weaver’s Den and has its own Bengali Indian restaurant, the (New) Bengal, which people come from miles around to experience given the delicious food served. Across the village, in the direction of Oldfield, you can find the Cricketers Arms which has a large outdoor space great for a few drinks. The Cider Press can be found just down the path from the Cricketers and hosts fantastic food made with local produce. Pure North Ciders press their famous ciders at the Cider Press on site. With its awe-inspiring scenery across the Holme Valley, Netherthong is popular with walkers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts, as well as being the perfect base for exploring Yorkshire and days out further afield. Netherthong is easily accessible on foot from Holmfirth or by car from further afield. We have our own parking space for guest use.
