COVID-19: STAY NOT POSSIBLE = MONEY BACK Holiday house (gîtes de groupe), situated in the beautiful valley of the 'Charbonnier' river near Saint Maurice sur Moselle (Vosges district), at the foot of the Ballon d'Alsace and Rouge Gazon. La Vieille Colonie has three floors with an overall capacity of 65 people. The house has 23 bedrooms that will sleep 2 to 4 people each. There are 8 showers and 8 toilet rooms, and a wash basin in every bedroom. There is a large dining room, a complete kitchen, which holds a large cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, washing machine, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, enough for everybody. Television, DVD player and free WiFi at your disposal. The ground floor is suitable for disabled people. This floor also has a comfortable lounge area with fire place. A fitness area and a games room with table tennis and table football are all available to our guests. We have ample parking spaces, covered parking area for bicycles and motobikes, a small workshop, and an area to clean bikes. There is a room for the storage of skis and ski equipment. From directly outside the gîte are mountain bike and hiking trails. Cyclists and motorbikers can also start exciting trails from here. Approx 7 km away lies the ski area of Rouge Gazon with its 10 km of ski slopes, making it an ideal ski area for the whole family. Larger ski areas are situated approximately 15 to 40 km away. Also within the surrounding area of the holiday house is the possibility for paragliding, fishing and horse riding to name but a few. Gérardmer, Belfort and the Alsace valley are all about 30 minutes drive away. On request we can prepare breakfast and/or diner for you.
