Calmness and wellbeing near lake Sjælsø

Half an hour’s drive from Copenhagen, you’ll find this peaceful and unique place located near lake Sjælsø, several forests and meadows. The room is located on the ground floor, with private entrance and terrace overlooking the garden. The room is bright with afternoon and evening sun, a large bathroom and separate kitchenette. Great possibilities for bird watching, hiking and cycling/MTB in the surrounding area. 5 min walk to bus stop, busses run every 10-20 min. Free parking Guests have their own entrance facing the garden. You have a privat kitchenette. Bathroom is more or less privat, but the owner wil use it occasionally for showering. At the entrance there is a terrace and you have free access to the garden in front of the house. Free parking. You are welcome to contact me directly or by phone during your stay. I live upstairs and will often be around. Quiet neighborhood in scenic surroundings. The house is situated on a quiet road with woodland and meadow at both ends of the road. I know a lot of the people living at the Sjælsø-area . I am shure you will find the neighbors very friendly and will feel safe here. You’ll have easy access to plenty walking trails. Rich birdlife. Bird observatory cabin by the lake. Terrain with many hiking trails, Mountain biking, riding and biking trails. During the Winther sometimes possibilities for crossskiing. Bathing possibilities with bathing bridge at several places by the lake/ also at winter time. A lovely gourmet restaurant "Jægerhytten" is located in the forest in 10 min. walking distance from the house. During wintertime you will find great activity of ice boats and ice skating. You are welcome to join us and have a Wintherbath at the lakeside. Fishing is permitted in Sjælsø . You need a fishing license. Free parking at the house. A bike for rent . Close to DTU. Øresund with fine sandy beaches is 7 km from here. Vedbæk beach is recommended. You also will find nice restaurants here. Fantastic sunset at the lake. can be watched at the lakeside or from “ Åsebakken” near by. Free parking I have a travellercard for guests . You can use it for all trains, Metro and buses. 5-7 minutes Walk to the nearest busstop. From here your can go to Birkerødstation og Kokkedal station and catch a train for Copenhagen. All in all 45 minutes. Busses runs frequently om weekdays. Airport 75- 90 minutes. I have a bike to be used in the neigborhood or to Birkerød st. The bed is very comfortable but pretty low.
