Recently re-built barn creating a beautiful airy ground floor annexe which is very spacious for 2 guests. Located on the escarpment of the Vale of Belvoir, Hen House has stunning views for miles. A peaceful location, but only half a mile along a lane or footpath into the village where there is a pub, fish & chip shop, deli and village shop/newsagent. Ideal for a quiet retreat in the countryside for walking or cycling it offers easy access to Rutland Water, Nottingham, Leicester or Melton Mowbray A sumptuous king size bed and a large dining come sitting room with a patio door opening straight out onto a private terrace. An oak framed porch shelters guests on arrival. Several footpaths within 200 meters of the property make this perfect for walking . Amazing views on a clear day. As well as a private terrace, there is ample off-road parking and access to various footpaths Happy to socialise with guests and answer any questions in person or on email/ text. The annexe is entirely separate from our house which is close by. The property is Covid secure with its own entrance. Rural setting about 1/2 mile out of the centre of the village of Long Clawson. Car is probably the easiest way to arrive. Once you have unpacked it is a 15 minute walk into the village. The village does have a bus stop to Melton and Bottesford.
