• The Manor House • Sawcliffe Manor dates back 400 years and is absolutely crammed full of history and character. Its 19 rooms has been lovingly restored by our family over the last 28 years and we're delighted to be able to share it with you! Our unique home has 100s of carefully collected antiques, hand-painted floors & a large walled garden, making it the perfect venue for groups & hen parties looking for something special. Beyond the Manor, Sawcliffe Farm is also home to a 400 acre nature reserve with wild Exmoor ponies roaming on it, an private spa facility, an archery range, 17th century chapel and even a 60m2 giant yurt - all of which can be booked as additional extras depending on our plans for your stay! • The Layout • 1 x Farmhouse kitchen with Italian marble tops and a 6-door AGA cooker. 1 x Dining room seating 24. 1 x Living room with wood-burner. 7 x Spacious bedrooms with 10 beds & 4 sofa-beds 4 x Bathrooms + 1 x shower room + 1 x cloakroom 1 x Large walled garden with BBQ & fruiting trees • Facilities that can be hired additionally (details & pricing below ↓): • 1 x Spectacular 60m2 giant yurt: Perfect for dinners, workshops & celebrations. 1 x Natural hot-tub spa: Book 3 hours of un-interrupted spa pampering. 1 x Archery & Axe Throwing range: Book a one-of-a-kind group activity. 1 x 17th century wedding chapel: For intimate 45 guest weddings. • Large Group Bookings • The maximum capacity for all of our accommodation (Manor + 3 cottages) is 45 guests. For groups of over 24 guests, additional holiday cottages can also be booked. Please get in touch for more details. The Manor is also dog friendly (£15/dog/night dog fee). • Check-in/out • The Manor has it's own self-check-in system, meaning guests can enjoy a fully socially distanced and undisturbed break in the heart of the countryside. Check-in is from 3pm onwards Check-out is up to 1pm. We will be on-hand on-site and via mobile for any questions/queries that you may have during your stay. • The Manor comes fully equipped with • - Bedding - Fresh Turkish towels - Soaps & shampoo - A fully equipped kitchen - Complimentary firewood - An outdoor BBQ We also have a number of additional services such as receiving supermarket deliveries for you & catering options available (details & pricing below ↓). • Yurt Hire, Spa, Activities & Catering• ->Yurt Hire £150 x number of nights booked in the Manor The yurt is situated in the Manor's garden, is 60m2 large, fully insulated, includes a gorgeous wood-burning stove for intimate evenings with friends and has its own kitchenette, basic domestic power supply, sofas and gorgeous decor. Please note that we do not hire the yurt for less nights than your accommodation booking in the Manor. If you would like to arrange a dinner in the yurt, additional tables and chairs can be hired. Additional table hire: £30/table. Tables seat 8-10 guests. Additional chair hire: £5/chair. Timings & Access: Available to you for the duration of your stay. Please note: Speakers may not exceed 85DB and guests may not play loud music after 11pm (so as to not disturb our other guests and neighbours), medium/ambient music after this time is totally fine. _______ → Private Wooden Hot Tub Spa Session: £30/guest, minimum of 16 guests 20 second walk from the Manor, our private spa has been handcrafted in wood to be 100% natural (no chemicals) and to help guests totally unwind in the surrounding natural beauty and indulge in gorgeous handmade natural cosmetics. Our spa takes 7 hours for us to prepare for guest use, for more information & full spa packages skip to 'Hot Tub Spa FAQs' below ↓ Timings & Access: 3 hour session, 5pm-8pm (start time cannot be altered). _______ → Private Archery Lesson: £250/group A beautiful private archery range is located in our old 17th century dairy. Guests can enjoy 1 hour archery lessons in one of the oldest parts of our farm together with our legendary teacher Reg. Don't worry if you've never tried it before, it's easier than it look. For Hens, this activity will be adapted to a 'cupid's arrow' archery session, and we will ask you to bring a print out copy of the bride/groom's faces ;-) Timings & Access: 1 hour lesson, chose from 11.15am-12.15pm OR 3.30pm-4.30pm (can be altered) _______ -> Countryside Hen Kits: £25/guest, minimum 16 guests. Prepared as a little surprise for your hens upon arrival (to help take the stress off the maid of honour). Our team will lovingly decorate the kitchen for you with tasteful hen decoration, fresh flowers and make sure that the prosecco is already on ice with glasses ready for a tasteful and beautiful welcome. Your hens will be provided with: - Tote Bag with name tags on them - Gorgeous linen kimonos (sage green & white for the bride) - Matching flip-flops. - Beautiful dried floral crowns. - Delicious cupcakes baked by our local artisan baker. - Rose-hip syrup (from our walled gardens). - Instructions how to make fabulous Rose-hip Prosecco cocktails. - Cocktail shakers & accessories for a classy start to your stay! *Please note that our Hen Kits are for hire, and have been designed to help hens reduce their party waste. If you love our kimonos/cocktail shakers/floral crowns, they can also be purchased during your stay from our gift shop. _______ → Bonfire evening with axe throwing: £250/group. Guests can enjoy an evening of learning how to start a fire with flint, axe throwing and marshmallows by the fire in the Manor garden. The perfect way to disconnect from the modern world and immerse yourselves in the countryside, axe throwing is a thrilling skill that you'll be surprisingly good at. Includes marshmallows, blankets & hot-chocolates. Timings & Access: 1.5 hour bonfire evening, 45 mins before sunset (not flexible). _______ → Pop-up Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea Baskets: £20/guest, minimum 16 guests. Served to your accommodation in a socially distanced manner, our afternoon tea is provided by our local bakery and can be enjoyed in your accommodation. Our generous tea includes: Teas, coffees, plenty of delicious freshly baked cakes and Lincolnshire speciality savoury pastries, linens and bunting to give you that extra bit of wow-factor. It even has a lovely Mad Hatter's Alice in Wonderland twist to it... Options: Vegetarian options available. Vegan, Hallal or Gluten Free not available. Timings: ca. 3.00pm doorstep delivery (not flexible). _______ -> Farmhouse Breakfast Basket: £15/person, minimum 16 guests. Just wake up and have breakfast delivered to your doorstep. Our farmhouse breakfast baskets include a delicious variety of local produce: eggs from our hens, locally cured bacons, granary loafs, traditional scones, homemade jam, 0km honey & fresh local fruit. Also includes milk, yoghurt, butter & juices (tea and coffee are already provided in the Manor kitchen). Options: Vegetarian options available. Vegan, Hallal or Gluten Free not available. Timings: ca. 10am doorstep delivery (not flexible). ---------- -> Evening catering ca. £25/guest upwards, POA We work exclusively with one (fabulous) catering company, The Beverley Street Food Company. They offer sit down meals which are delicious and also have a fabulous Pizza Kitchen in a Horse Box which can also be hired. Both are extremely popular with our guests, and as Kerry works with us frequently, she knows the Manor inside out (and you won't have to worry about a thing)! _______ -> Supermarket food deliveries: receive & store away: £30/delivery We'll happily receive your grocery order for the weekend and store it away in the house. This includes waiting for the delivery at a specific time on the day of your checkin. _______ → Yoga in the Yurt & Tea: £250/group Guests can enjoy 1.5 hours restorative vinyassa yoga with our favourite local yoga teacher, followed by a lovely herbal tea and fruit selection. Please note that yoga mats are not provided for this activity, however the rugs in our yurt are a very suitable surface for practicing yoga in case you don't have enough private mats (we've tried it before)! Timings & Access: TBC with yoga instructor ______ -> Please note that all our add-ons are subject to the availability of our service providers and are booked on a first come first serve basis. • Important House Rules • - Please note that there is a £200 penalty for breaking our house rules. We do not accept any refuse (eg. balloons, decorations, un-eaten food/drinks) or unwashed dishes being left in the yurt, garden or house (full house rules below). Please make sure that you leave the property as you found it. - The Manor is our day to day family home, so we reserve the right to deny inquiries that we feel uncomfortable hosting. - Like any kind of self-catered accommodation, the Manor must be left as it was found. The main booking contact is responsible for the state of the Manor after checkout. They must let us know of any damage or breakages caused on the day of checkout. - Prior to checking in, the main booking contact will be asked to sign a copy of our House, Yurt, Spa & Farm rules and to pass these on to all of the other guests.
