Hellatún Guest House

Newly renovated beautiful historic farm house built in 1946, in a wonderful and quiet neighborhood. The space consists of 2 bedrooms, one with 160 cm bed and the other with two 90 cm beds and a 140 cm sleeping sofa in the living room. Kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine, dishwasher and american fridge freezer with water and ice cube machine. Bathroom with walk in shower, outside on the patio is a private hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the stunning view. Bath ropes included :) I am always available to help! I can recommend places, nearby restaurants or any activity you like to ask about. The house is located 13 km west of the town Hella in South Iceland. From the house there is a stunning views to Vestman Island and the volcanos Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull. The house is perfectly located when it comes to visiting popular tourist attractions such as the golden triangle and Þórsmörk, so we name a few. On the field below the house are old caves that are very interested to view. I recommend a rental car for this accommodation. Northern lights season has started and some of our guests have seen the lights from the hot tub.
