French doors open from your private, second floor bedroom and sitting area, onto a semi-private deck. Ideal for watching birds, or simply relaxing to the sound of cascading water and the whisper of the breeze through the tree tops. Your Suite is on the second floor. There are two suites on the second floor, which share a deck. Your private suite has a grand king sized bed nestled under the eaves. If you would prefer, we can exchange the king sized bed for two extra long twin beds, at no additional fee. We provide luxurious cotton sheets, fluffy duvets and a selection of pillows to choose from for a perfect night's sleep. The slipcovered chairs provide comfortable viewing out the French doors, which open to the semi-private deck. Brew your first cup of coffee in your room, stroll out the french doors, and welcome the morning on your own time frame. Each room is ensuite, with shower and toilet in a private space, while the sink is available in the room. There is internet service, but the remote location means that the internet is not always as reliable as we would like! In the summer, enjoy wandering along the stone stairways in the rock garden. Tell stories around the fire pit (fires in the fire pit are contingent on burn restrictions), retreat in our secret garden hideaway, or cross the bridge over the creek and relax on the vista point. Year round access to both decks, your semi-private back deck, or the front deck. You may sip a comforting beverage in front of the pellet stove while enjoying the panoramic view of Gold Creek Valley and surrounding peaks. The dining area and living room are available to our guests from 7 AM until 9 PM. There is also a gathering area for our guests on the second floor. We are terribly friendly, and are familiar both with the winter resources, and the summer recreation opportunities here at Snoqualmie Pass. Whether it be hiking trails, winter snow shoeing, mountain biking or sledding recommendations, we will be happy to help. We do work, and will need to go to bed early, and rise early. We are located on the ski slopes of Summit @ Snoqualmie. Guests may access the alpine or Nordic trails from our back door. in the summer time, our home is on the Pacific Crest Trail; adventuresome hikers may want to hike up to Kendell Catwalk. Families that would like a taste of the Pacific Crest Trail may want to hike to Lodge Lake or Mirror Lake. Gold Creek pond is a wonderful stroll for all ages and all ability levels. It is paved and handicap accessible. Red Mountain Coffee is a charming, locally owned and operated coffee shop that also makes wonderful pizza and salads. Aardvark has the most amazing coconut curry and burgers, this is NOT your average hamburger stand, but is an eclectic eatery - log cabin food truck, which almost every PCT hiker stops at to refuel. This is a local hang-out. Drew Brew is our local brewery. They also sell Root Beer Growlers. There is limited parking available in our driveway. We will contact you with instructions. In the winter there is a shuttle bus moving guests to the four different ski areas that are all part of Summit @ Snoqualmie. We are members of Ski Patrol and Kittitas County Search and Rescue. We have a search and rescue golden retriever puppy named Harry. We insist that you not spoil Harry, by sneaking him treats, or teasing him. We may be called away at a moment's notice, at the Sheriff's request, and ask for your understanding.
