Cherry Tree Barn is located in the grounds of Hazeland Lodge, an old hunting lodge for Bowood House estate. A peaceful location, with stunning views and lots to do on the doorstep (including heated swimming pool available 1st May to 30th September and tennis court available all year), come and enjoy your own little piece of the Wiltshire countryside. Cherry Tree Barn is a fantastic converted barn, with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 (plus 1 infant in a travel cot) and 1 bathroom with shower/bath. One double with kingsize bed and one twin that can be made up as a super king double on request. Fluffy feather duvets and pillows (or anti-allergy bedding on request). Bath towels, hand towels and pool towels (when pool is open) all provided. Minimum stay varies - 4 nights May to Sept (7 nights during summer holidays Sat-Sat), otherwise 3 nights (with some exceptions). For 2 week bookings a change of linen/towels is provided. For long stay discounted bookings, a charge for a weekly change of linen/towels can be added if required. Mezzanine dining area overlooking the tennis court, lounge with wood burner, TV with sky package and free WiFi. Kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Please note that there are 5 steps from the main living area to the mezzanine dining area off which the 2 bedrooms and bathroom are located. Patio and BBQ next to the heated swimming pool (open May to Sept) and tennis court (open all year). Playhouse, slide and swings for little ones. Large wooded garden to explore. Facilities are shared with owners. Nearby fishing, horse riding, walks and a pub 5 minutes up the road for food and drink. A 5 minute drive away is the wonderful Bowood House and Gardens with kids adventure playground. Also close to Lacock Abbey, Longleat, the City of Bath, Avebury and Stonehenge and many more local attractions. Shared heated pool (open 1st May - 30th Sept) and tennis court (open all year). Private patio, table and chairs and Weber BBQ. Large wooded garden and kids play area. No pets. We live next door, so we are around to hand over keys, answer queries, but otherwise you are left to your own devices! We live in the middle of the Wiltshire countryside, on a single track road, with just a couple of neighbours and the pub up the hill. We have a number of public footpaths on our door, one of which is a disused railway line where you can walk or cycle for miles uninterrupted by traffic. We are just 15 mins from the M4 and the fast train from London to Bristol Temple Meads stops at Chippenham, which is also just 10-15 mins away. Cherry Tree Barn is self catered, no smoking and pet free accommodation.
