An elevated cottage a short distance from the cosy Victorian seaside town of Dunoon (15minute walk) with outstanding views over the Forth of Clyde. In the hills behind West Bay, up a winding treelined driveway, the cottage is set in the three acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands of the Abbots Brae Hotel (currently closed). A natural habitat of wildlife from red squirrels to roe deer, if your lucky you may might spot them! The cottage layout is all on one floor. Consisting of two bedrooms, hallway, huge bathroom, large open plan lounge/dining room (with french doors that open to the rear of the cottage) and kitchen. WiFi throughout. Gas central heating controlled via a Hive system located in the hallway. Main bedroom has its own dressing room and appointed with a king bed, luxury linens and soft furnishings, alarm clock, tissues, robes, slippers and seating area with breathtaking views. Second bedroom is appointed similar without a dressing room. Huge bathroom with underfloor heating, large free standing bath, walk in shower, Arran Aromatic toiletries, fluffy towelling (face, hand and bath) and also an Apple HomePod Bluetooth speaker (stream or play music/radio) Large open plan lounge and dining room with very comfortable furnishings, large LCD TV (with Google chromecast), Apple HomePod Bluetooth speaker (stream or play music/radio) and french doors opening out to rear garden and seating. A welcome pack awaits you filled with maps, local activities/attractions! Basic kitchen directly off dining room with free standing cooker, microwave, fridge (with integrated small freezing unit), washing machine, Nespresso latte machine with complimentary teas and coffees, array of crockery/cutlery/glassware and basic pantry items such as salt and pepper, olive oil, cling film, cleaning utensils etc. Outside seating at front of the cottage to take in the sea views and also at the back of the cottage along with fire chiminea. Listen to the sound of the waterfalls from Morag's Fairy Glen located yards away from the rear of the cottage. Car port and additional space located at the front of the cottage. Due to the position of the cottage on a hill with steep steps it would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
