City centre appartment

Location: This luxurious Airbnb is situated on the market place in the heart of Gouda's historic centre. The building used to be a hotel, has been partially converted into appartments and has a lift. The apartment available for Airbnb is on the second floor and consists of two floors. The lower floor is for you, the top floor is were I live. The two floors are connected via a staircase situated in the hallway of the lower floor. This means that from time to time I will need to walk through the hallway on your floor to use the stairs to access my living area on the top floor. So every now and then you may see me walk by from your living room. The domain of the Airbnb is 120m2 and consists of a bedroom, bathroom, toilet, kitchen and expansive living / dining area, with magical views of the market place and the famous Gothic Gouda town hall. The bedroom is at the rear of the apartment, and free from city noise. The beating heart of the city: This Airbnb is in walking distance of the St Jans church with its famous stained windows, museums, a hammam (Turkish bath, various massages, treatments etc), bike rental, and of course the market place itself offers many small cafes, bars and numerous dining options. the Gouda train station is in 6 minutes walking distance. On Thursday mornings Gouda hosts the famous historic cheese market. This summer there will be free Sunday afternoon concerts in the Houtman park. While enjoying welcome drinks the owner can inform you on the various attractions of Gouda. Cycling, walking and boating: Gouda's surroundings are also interesting and varied. From the city there are many signposted local cycling routes through picturesque villages and low lying farm fields. Only 3 km away are the famous Reeuwijk lakes, with plenty of opportunity for walks or boat hire. Parking: Paid parking is available in a parking garage in walking distance. If you do not need your car every day, you can deposit your luggage at the Airbnb and park for free just outside the city. In that case the owner can organise transport from and to your car. Private and Business: Situated opposite the beautiful Town Hall and with its luxurious interior, this Airbnb could funcition very well as a bridal suite. For a business visit you could host a meeting 'in home'. The large dining table can place 14 people. Lunch and drinks can be catered for. This Airbnb can be booked for 2 people max, is non smoking and not suitable for babies, children or pets. I is not permitted to host parties or events. We request that you respect the privacy and peace of the neighbours. Registration numb (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) FC AE14 This is a no shoes apartment. Occupancy tax is additional and is not included in the Airbnb rate. It is € 1,51 per person, per night, due on arrival. Please feel free to use food, herbs and spices from the kitchen. However we do request that if you finish a product to kindly replace it with a new one of the same brand and quantity. You are welcome to take white whine from the fridge. I will charge you € 10 per bottle. Please do not sit in the window sills! They are not supported and will break free from the wall if you do. When you leave the apartment, even for a short time, please close and lock the windows and doors. If you wish to have your towels washed, please place them on the stairs. The sofa's are not beds, please do't sleep on them. The terrace is shared with 2 other apartments and is sometimes used by smokers. It is not allowed to entertain of invite other guests into my apartment. Checking out is with me please.
