A stunning two bedroom self contained bungalow with open plan living space which is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within a village on the outskirts of Felixstowe. The picturesque Felixstowe seafront is a short drive/ bike ride away with its selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. Take the Felixstowe Foot Ferry across to Bawdsey, sample fresh fish and chips at the famous Ferry Boat Inn, or for golfers the historic Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club awaits. PETS maybe allowed please ask for details. This stunning self contained bungalow offers fabulous open plan living space which is ideal for couples or families alike. Decorated to a high spec with a contemporary style kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you should require for your stay including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer & built in fridge freezer. The bathroom has a shower (over P shaped bath) with glazed screen and a built in vanity washing area. Within the cosy lounge area there is a magnificent 60" flat screen TV, a comfy sofa bed and soft armchair, a dining table with seating for up to 4 guests and a breakfast bar area which allows for a further two guests or which can double up as a work station for business guests. The kitchen contains a built in oven with ceramic induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer as well as a kettle and toaster and all other equipment for your stay. The main bedroom has a double bed with a wall mounted TV and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a single bed - there is a pull out trundle bed under which could be used for sharing adults or children however please be aware that when the under trundle bed is in use in addition to the single bed, it does make the space rather tight within a single bedroom. There is a sunroom to the rear which offers alternative seating area. Being two bedrooms and with a sofa bed in the lounge this accommodation will allow up to 5 guests to stay, 6 if trundle bed is in use, however be aware it would make the space tight in the bedroom. There is a travel cot and highchair for small children. There is parking for 2 cars directly in front of the property. The small rear garden is mainly laid to lawn with a small patio seating area and can be accessed by a gate to the rear or through the sliding patio doors in the sun room. A ‘stone’s throw away’ from the property is a gate that leads to a large area of open parkland. This open green countryside area is favoured by walkers and dog owners alike. PETS maybe allowed at the property please ask for details. The property is in a handy location for access to the A14. Please be aware you can hear some very slight traffic noise when the wind is blowing in the ‘wrong’ direction ! Access to the property is via a secure key safe and code details are provided immediately prior to your stay. Broadband & Wifi. We hope you enjoy your stay. Trimley St Mary is a small village located on the immediate outskirts of the coastal town of Felixstowe close to the pretty villages of Trimley St Martin and Kirton. It offers a number of shops and amenities, easy access to the A14 and a railway station on the Ipswich to Felixstowe line. Felixstowe is an historic Edwardian seaside town with a bustling town centre with many cafes, shops, cinema, bingo hall and many more, something for guests of all ages. Take a stroll along the beautiful promenade lined with colourful beach huts, visit the magnificent new Pier & The Boardwalk cafe and bistro, experience a show at the Spa Pavilion or step back in time at Landguard Fort and the Felixstowe Museum. Or visit the Old Felixstowe area of the promenade and have a drink or bite at the Fludyers Arms and take in the panoramic views over the sea. At the end of the road (approx 5 min walk) you will find a bus stop with a regular bus service running to and from Felixstowe and Ipswich Town. Walk a little further (extra 5 mins and you will locate the Train station with links to Ipswich, Felixstowe, London Liverpool Street (approx. 1hr from Ipswich). Walkers can enjoy exploring numerous local footpaths within close proximity including Felixstowe promenade.
