The place to bee... 🐝

We are on the doorstep of Winston Churchill’s home (Chartwell), Penshurst Place, Hever Castle, Chiddingstone and Emmett's Gardens. The local area is abundant with beautiful surrounding villages, such as Westerham, with restaurants, bars and old traditional pubs. There is a wealth of things to keep you busy in the local area, or simply enjoy the hut's amenities, making for a perfect romantic break! A homely Shepherds Hut in peaceful Kent countryside, placed in a wild meadow with a honey beehive. The hut makes for a fantastic weekend getaway and perfect for longer breaks, with luxury bedding, dressing-gowns, slippers and toiletries. The hut contains a well-equipped kitchen, with two electric hobs, microwave, toaster & kettle, and fridge allowing you to bring your own food & beverage. A stylish bathroom will keep you feeling refreshed throughout your stay, with a log burner for when the temperature drops. Outside dining is also possible with a charcoal BBQ and separate fire-pit to keep you toasty on those cooler evenings. We also have a unique Swedish design, first of its kind, log burning hot tub. Working in harmony, with the laws of nature. What more could you ask for being surrounded by nature, beautiful surroundings and relaxing in a hot tub. You will have a dedicated parking space, with one of us meeting you on arrival. You are free to go and come as you please. Please reach out if you have any special requests, we will do our best to accommodate and make your stay enjoyable! We're available as much or as little as you would like! Please note there is a beehive close to the hut, as long as you leave them alone, you won't even know they are there. Please let them 'bee' :) We have purposely not placed WiFi or a TV within the hut - it is a tranquil place, allowing you to disconnect from day-to-day life. A selection of games, books, nearby walks and a radio will keep you entertained! No children, pets or smoking inside the hut Embers & cigarettes are to be placed in the sand bucket, to prevent fires when the meadow is dry.
