Traveller's studio is a beautifully converted artist workshop and is situated behind private gates. The cottage has a light and spacious feel and it has been appointed and decorated stylishly and with practicality in mind. Perhaps one of the best features are the views across fields of horses and the sunsets are amazing. The cottage is on two levels, with a kitchen and living area. The bed has the option to be twins or a fastened together super-king-sized bed. There is a private sun trap garden Self contained cottage with twin beds that can work as a queen size. New bathroom suite, cosy living room with separate kitchen that has wonderful views across the valley are bar stools which is a great area to work in. Original art on the walls, desk, comfy sofa (sofa bed) and occasional chairs. A private garden can be used as well as the patio area to the front of the cottage full access and off road parking if required by gated driveway I am a professional painter and this cottage used to be my studio. The neighbourhood Location: Upper Hopton is a pretty village to walk around with 2 pubs serving excellent food and Upper Hopton Club selling good cheap beer. There is a park with a children’s play area and a cricket club. The area is highly successful in ‘Britain in Bloom village’ and has again been awarded a gold in the spring judging. Travellers’ studio provides a perfect base to explore both rural and urban Yorkshire. Plenty of walks, art, and city culture! Easy driving to Yorkshire Sculpture Park (15 mins), Hepworth Gallery (25 mins), Holmfirth/Summer Wine Country (30 mins), Haworth/Bronte Country (50 Mins), Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey (70 mins). Mirfield is on The Transpennine Ale Trail which runs from Staley bridge to Batley. A large private fenced back garden and private off road parking ..Only a 15-minute walk to Mirfield train station, which has excellent links to Leeds (30 mins), Huddersfield (10 mins), Manchester (50 mins), York (1 hr), London (2hrs 35 mins). The M1 is a 15-minute drive to either J38 or J40. The m62 is around 10 minutes Brighouse junction). A secure garage for cyclists who wish to do the Tour De Yorkshire Route.
