Farm Cottage with Dutch Polder views

This lovingly refurbished cottage sits in the middle of the Dutch polder landscape. With triple aspect views of fields, there is always something to see, whether it is farmers in action, cows grazing or a kestrel hovering. The area is popular with cyclists, walkers and birdwatchers, yet famous cities such as Gouda and Rotterdam are only a short car journey away. Please do note we are not close to any public transport links. The perfect place to relax or be as active as you like. This is a beautiful quaint cottage with wooden flooring and country style furnishing. You also have access to the garden directly surrounding the cottage, including some lawn that could be used for a picknick or playing. The lawn is surrounded by ditches, so children should be supervised at all times. There is a table outside. If there is anything at all you need or if you have questions, let me know! The cottage faces south east and gets the most beautiful sunrises. Our cottage sits just in the countryside just outside Berkenwoude. Berkenwoude is a small quiet village. There is a market on Tuesdays (bakery, fruit & vegetable stall and a fresh fish stall), but otherwise there is no grocery shop. Grocery shops are about fifteen minute car-ride away (I do offer a shopping service if needed). The fields directly surrounding the cottage are used by the dairy farmer next door. Please note that the nearest busstop is about 3 or 4km away. There is a TV with Chromecast and a DVD player (as well as some DVDs)available, but there is no television reception. The Cottage also houses a number of books and games. Please be aware our own house is attached to the cottage and we have various pets that might come and say hello, including Flo, our big black dog, and a couple of cats. The dog is not free roaming when guests are booked in.
