Forest Yurt near Bruges

Our hand-made forest yurt sits in a secluded old growth forest on a private estate near medieval Bruges. The yurt is 5,5 meters (18 feet) in diameter. It sleeps 4 people comfortably, with a double bed and a double pull-out couch (but can just fit up to 5 people with an extra mattress provided). There's a wood stove & kitchenette inside. Linen, towels and organic soap/shampoo are provided. Outside there is an area to do barbecues (grill provided. Please bring your own charcoal). The treehouse is equipped with a hot bath/shower and sink. Underneath the treehouse there is an outside cooking stove and sitting area. There is a dry compost toilet behind the yurt as well. The estate has walking paths which boasts ancient trees. There is a large pond on the estate with a small rowing boat at your disposal. There is a vegetable garden and orchard on the estate where we grow organic vegetables, apples and pears. The forest is set in a calm suburb 15 min by car from Bruges, and 25 min from the seaside. In the village of 'Waardamme' (2min away) or the town of 'Oostkamp' (5 min drive) you'll find everything you need. There are easy bus services (30min) from and into Bruges (5 min walk to/from bus stop). The yurt was built with the intention to provide those seeking a space to re-integrate to nature's pace. The estate is situated within the 'Green Belt' of Bruges which is home to many Estates and Castles where visitors can take long hikes or bicycle rides through the beautiful Flemish scenery. Guests have a reserved space on the private parking lot and their own access gate to the estate. The estate has walking paths which boasts ancient trees.
