Set in the beautiful Northumbrian countryside with easy access to a myriad beaches and castles, close to Alnwick and Morpeth and with stunning unspoilt countryside all around. This 6 berth van is the perfect home from home to explore Northumberland. Dog-friendly, the site is surrounded by woodland walks. Family friendly, there is an adventure playground and tennis court and free golf on the adjoining course. The Rowans is bright and airy getting the sun all day. With plenty of outdoor space for an al fresco meal or to sit and watch the sun go down over the Simonside Hills. There are catering outlets on site at the weekend and it is only a short walk to the Bari Bar at the golf club. Percy Wood lies a few miles south of Alnwick, famous for the Alnwick Garden as as Hogwarts in the first Harry Potter film. It also has a great selection of small interesting shops and weekly market. South is Morpeth, another historic market town dating back to the 12th century and the final resting place of Emily Davidson. To the east lie some of the most beautiful long, sandy beaches in England while to the west the Simonside hills for long walks across heather moors. A car is really necessary to see the area, there is no public transport close by. The Rowans is bright and airy getting the sun all day.
