We are in the small village of Weston a parish in the North of Hertfordshire, England. Weston is located 4 miles north of the town of Stevenage, 2.5 miles south of Baldock. The A1 passes 2 miles to the west and the A505 to the north, which is a direct route to Cambridge, which is 24 miles (42 Mins) north by road. The Weston Hills were made famous by the Robin Hood-style character Jack o'Legs, who was allegedly buried in the church graveyard. The Weston Hills have been designated of outstanding natural beauty and have conservation status. The guest Annexe/suite is on the ground floor and has guest use only access. The cottage is situated in a pleasant rural location, and the village boasts a green with pond, a small shop selling fresh local produce, including a post office. There are two excellent pubs, The Cricketers and the Red Lion, which both serve excellent food and offer friendly service. There are good rail links in Baldock and Stevenage with fast trains into the center of London (37 Mins) and Cambridge (28 Mins). There are many local places of interest to visit including Knebworth House, Hatfield house, Shaw’s corner and many local scenic country walks. This area of the accommodation is not accessed by members of the household when guests are staying so offers complete privacy during your stay.
