Best of all you are in the heart of The Towne of St. George, next to the iconic St. Peter's Church, a must see for any visitor. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, museums and historic buildings within walking distance. Go on a guided tour or just explore for yourself. Buses and the ferry can be caught just 2 minutes away. St. Georges town is accessible on foot. If you plan to explore the whole island, you can do so by public transport (buses, ferries and taxies) or you can rent a vehicle (bicycle, electric bicycle, motor bike or electric car) The Town of St. George is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Getting around the town can be accomplished on foot. If you plan to explore the whole Island then this can be done using local buses, ferries and taxies. You may want to rent a motor bike or electric car. Some fit people rent bicycles or bicycles with batteries, be warned though, the island is hilly and it gets HOT in the summer months. :)
