Maples Barn is a lovely two bedroom, self catering cottage, situated in the pretty hamlet of Clanville, with an enclosed garden and views over open countryside. It offers a peaceful rural retreat whilst being ideally positioned to access numerous activities and places of interest in the South. This lovely self-catering detached holiday home enjoys far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside and is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Clanville. Enjoy walks from the door, a glass of wine on the patio overlooking the fields, amazing sunsets and access to dozens of activities, all within an hour's drive. There is a pub with restaurant in the village. The ground floor accommodation comprises of a shower room, open plan kitchen and dining room and separate sitting room. The sitting room has a patio door leading out to the large private patio with table, chairs and parasol. The dining room has a glass panelled door also leading to the patio. Stairs, in the dining room, lead to the first floor which consists of a double bedroom and a twin bedded room, the latter has an ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms and ensuite have sloping ceilings. There is underfloor heating throughout the property. Outside there is a BBQ, a secured shed which can store bicycles and parking for 1 car. It is ideally located for Winchester, Salisbury, the New Forest, Stonehenge and historical buildings such as Highclere Castle (site for Downton Abbey). Whilst offering many walking, riding, fishing, shooting and cycling opportunities, it will also appeal to families with young children with its access to adventure parks, including Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park, and beaches on the south coast. Dog owners will find short and long walks from the door. You are booking an entire detached cottage with private patio and garden.
