The Laurels, is a Comfortable modern home with two bedrooms situated on a new development within walking distance of the market town of Northallerton. The town has a traditional high street with a mix of local and national shops cafes and restaurants for you to explore, including a branch of the famous Bettys tea rooms. Northallerton is the county town of North Yorkshire ideally placed for exploring the Dales and the Moors and with a direct rail service to York centre taking just 20 minutes. The house has two double bedrooms a bathroom and an open plan kitchen/ living area. Outside you will find a private fully fenced garden with a decked sitting area and a summerhouse. Two off street parking spaces are available at the front of the property. (Covered by CCTV for your security). Bikes can be stored and secured at the side of the house behind a locked gate. CHECK OUT Complimentary late check of 12 Midday is offered to all guests. Wi-fi Super fast fibre broadband is available for guest use. ENTERTAINMENT 43inch smart HD TV with Netflix in Lounge 32 inch smart HDTV with Netflix in Bedroom one Music is available via Amazon Alexa BABIES AND INFANTS. Travel cot, High chair and a stair guard are available on request. However it is for you to decide if they are appropriate and safe for use with your child. (We do not provide bedding for the travel cot) WE WELCOME YOUR 4 PAWS It is important to advise us at the time of booking that you intend to bring your dog. We will leave a pack containing throws, towels, treats and bowls ( this will help you and your dog to follow the house rules). Due to the size of the property we can only accommodate one dog and make a small charge of £10 per stay. Sorry! we only accept dogs. ELECTRIC CARS Currently we do not have safe facilities for changing electric vehicles. Northallerton is situated in the vale of Mowbray, with The Dales to the west and The Moors to the east it is in a great position for exploring both. Other market towns within easy driving distance include Thirsk, Bedale, Richmond, Helmsley and Ripon. Frequent trains from Northallerton’s main line railway station take just 20 minutes to the centre of York. Add to this various stately homes and theme parks, plus further afield the coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough the area really does have lots to offer!
