Sunny double room in quiet location with easy access to the station ( 5mins walk). Gated entrance and parking on driveway. The room comes with it's own TV and sole use of the main bathroom. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room. The house is set back from the road, surrounded by lovely gardens which guests are welcome to use. Guests may use the sitting room and breakfast will be available in the Dining Room or in the conservatory in the Summer. I am available to talk to guests about local amenities and can point you in the right direction for places of interest in the surrounding area. Lovely village with good links to Guildford (20mins by train) and London (49mins by train). Local shop is 2mins down the road, village itself has a selection of independent shops and pubs. Polesden Lacey, a lovely National Trust property is 5mins drive away. Box Hill is 10mins away by car with lovely views and great walking. The Common is a 5min walk down the road for walking enthusiasts - lovely walks with country pubs at the end. The local pub is 1/4 mile up the road with 3 further pubs in Bookham Village. There are 2 curry restaurants within 5 miles, otherwise Guildford or Leatherhead have plenty of lovely restaurants. There are plenty of good cycling routes in the area. Ride London Surrey route passes near in August. Bookham Train station is 5mins walk away. Bus stop outside the house has buses to Guildford or Kingston and parking available on the driveway. Trains to Guildford take 24mins and into London Waterloo is 52mins. Leatherhead is one train stop away.
