Mary's Shepherds Hut - Grendon

There IS definitely something about Mary’s and you certainly won’t be disappointed . Recently completely redecorated, this delightfully quaint shepherds hut is the perfect retreat after a hectic week. With the comfiest bed, the most relaxing style of linens, dear little woodburner, small hand basin, kettle and fridge, it has it all. Located at Pastures Farm and set in the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Mary's has 24/7 access to spotlessly clean showers and toilets. Mary's is situated in the paddock at our working farm here are Pastures Farm and is located close to the farmhouse enabling guests to have easy 24/7 access to the downstairs shower and toilet. Guests will be able to enjoy the gardens and all the surrounding countryside including The Shed (aka Skinners Inn.) If guests would like any additional food preparing to enjoy either in Mary's or in Skinner's Inn then we will always be able to rustle something up. Anything is possible at Pastures Farm and we will always bend over backwards to make sure your stay in this very special shepherds hut is a memorable one. We love it and are sure that you will too. Guests will have access to showers and toilets located within the farmhouse as well as the grounds. Being a working farm, Pastures Farm is approximately 1 mile from Grendon, Castle Ashby and Cogenhoe and 2 miles from the larger village of Earls Barton. Cogenhoe boasts one pub and a shop, Earls Barton two pubs plenty of shops, takeaways, hairdressers etc etc, and nearby Castle Ashby is the home of the recently refurbished and very lovely Falcon Hotel. The Half Moon in Grendon is currently closed but due to reopen very soon. The nearby village of Earls Barton has a very good bus service to Milton Keynes, Northampton, Peterborough, Corby and Wellingborough. There are two excellent railway stations in close proximity, one in Wellingborough (to St Pancras) and the other in Northampton (to Euston and Birmingham)
