The apartment is in a newly built modern building. It is airy and very spacious, with all the amenities to make Your stay comfortable. It is in a very convenient location, with great transport links. It is 20 min walk or a 5 min bus ride to the Railway station which offers great connections to London in 47 min, Chelmsford and Ipswich in 20 mins, Norwich in 1 hr. Please feel free to use the kitchen, and a Nespresso coffee machine if you are a passionate coffee lover like I am! Also, I always try to stock a variety of breakfast food in the fridge so you can have a bite to eat before you head off in the morning (cereal, bread, spreads, milk, porridge etc available). Additionally, you are welcome to use the washing machine and drier if needed. I am normally here to welcome guest personally. On an odd occasion when it is not possible I have a friend who can let guests in. However, if I am not around, you can contact me at any time if you have any questions or need any help. Once checked in, you will have a key to an apartment as well as the main door, so you can come and go as you like. My neighbourhood is called Myland and although it is still very near centre, it has a tranquil country feel to it. With Mile End Recreation ground and Highwoods Country park nearby there is a lot of green around here. The local pub is called Dog & Pheasant and it is less than 5 min walk away, and so is a Cooperative Supermarket. Colchester is small enough to be able to get everywhere by foot if you enjoy a nice walk. However, buses run very frequently and you can get a pass for a day for only £3.80. Taxis also tend to be relatively cheap - £5-£8 a ride depending on the distance. Please do get in touch if you have any questions or special requirements.
