The Annexe at Alcester Heath Farm is a self-contained two-bedroomed flat with incredible countryside views just outside the beautiful market town of Alcester. Just 20 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon, with all its attractions and facilities, this accommodation is well equipped, and ideal for country walks and enjoying the Warwickshire countryside. With two bedrooms and a sofa-bed, we can accommodate up to four people. Alcester Heath Farm dates back to the 17th Century, and is located about a mile outside of the historic market town of Alcester. The Annexe is a self-contained first-floor flat, built about 10 years ago, to the rear of the farmhouse. The owners lived in The Annexe during the renovation of the farmhouse and are now offering it as a holiday let, having moved into the farmhouse late (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The Annexe has a well equipped kitchen, an adjoining lounge area and two separate bedrooms. A spacious shower-room and separate WC complete the first floor accommodation. On the ground floor is a utility room with freezer and washing machine. Equipment includes a built-in oven, a microwave, fridge, separate freezer, Washing machine, a wine cooler and a large screen television. Broadband internet is available. There are numerous public footpaths in the locality, and the accommodation is ideal for walkers. We welcome well behaved dogs. The accommodation is ideal for up to four people. There is a double bed in one room, a three-quarters sized bed in the second bedroom, and a double sofa-bed in the lounge. In good weather, you can enjoy the views from the outside table and chairs under the walnut tree! Ideal for al-fresco dining! The Annexe is completely self-contained, with its own entrance, parking and keylock. We can also give you private access to a one-acre paddock to exercise yourselves and your dog (if you have one). Alcester is a lovely old Market Town, and well worth a visit. It has Roman origins, and there is a small Roman Alcester Heritage Centre that is open four days a week. The High Street has many cafes and pubs, and there are regular food festivals and other events throughout the year. There are numerous attractions to be found in Stratford-upon-Avon, which is just a 20 minute, 10 mile drive away. Coughton Court is a National Trust property, and can be found just 1.5 miles away (B49 5JA). It is an imposing Tudor house set in beautiful gardens, that played a part in the Gunpowder Plot of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) You can visit the house and gardens and there is also a shop and café. Ragley Hall is just three miles away and hosts various events throughout the year. Warwick, and its historic castle, are just 16 miles and 25 minutes away. There are cinemas in both Redditch and Stratford. And of course, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre can be found in Stratford. The Cotswolds are a short drive away, with Broadway 17 miles away, and Stow-on-the-Wold a further 10 miles. You'll need a car to get here. This is an ideal location for walkers - there are numerous public footpaths in the area, the closest of which can be found 100 yards away. Most of the local fields have verges that can be walked along. We’ll be happy to provide some suggested routes. Cyclists will also enjoy the many country roads and villages around Warwickshire.
