Cosy, Comfy and Chic Studio B&B

The Shed is a cosy, chic and welcoming studio B&B in a vaulted beamed room set in the stunning grounds of a 16th century farmhouse. Double bed, sitting area, TV\DVD and wifi, kitchenette. Small dining area, tea and coffee facilities and yummy breakfast goodies included. Bathroom with toilet, sink and large walk in shower. Bedlinen and towels provided. There's plenty of parking, and a small seating area outside the Shed with a garden area and lovely views. Guests are welcome to use the tennis court - just ask for racquets and balls. I am normally around to meet and greet guests and always available by phone if anything is needed. If your stay is a special occasion and you'd like a special welcome, or if you need anything extra, please just ask. I'll do my best to make sure you have a 'home from home' here. Epping Upland is a rural hamlet just on the outskirts of Epping. There's fab views and countryside all around, plenty of walks and bike rides. Epping is a lively market town only 5 minutes drive away and has lots of great eateries and drinkeries, plus there's some great country pubs to visit too. You get all the benefits of a peaceful rural stay while being very close to the town, or a night out in Central London. We have plenty of recommendations to suit anyone's taste and budget. There are two local taxi services in Epping. A taxi to Epping town or station is approx £8.00, and cabs run 24 hours. Lawlers Station Taxis in Epping can be pre-booked if you need to use them. Epping Underground station will get you in and out of Central London fast. When you arrive, the taxi rank is just on the left. Stansted Airport is 20 minutes away. M11 and M25 junctions are close by. A car is recommended but not essential as many guests use the local cab service. However please note you cannot walk into Epping (unless it's a leisurely walk through the fields which takes about 1/2 hour) - the nearest shops are in Epping town, or there are petrol stations within 5 minutes drive that stock food and drinks. We have plenty of free parking for guests.
