Little Cowdray Glamping shepherd's hut is a self contained mini home, with a comfy double bed, double hob, microwave, bathroom with shower, log burner, and central heating. It has been tastefully decorated and has all the necessary accessories and utensils you will need for your stay. The hut has it's own private area, private hot tub, and includes parking and outdoor seating, and there is a BBQ should you wish to dine outside or star gaze For a small additional cost of £15 we welcome well behaved dogs, but they must remain on a lead at all times around the farm, this is not only due to our livestock, but because of large machinery operating in and around the farm, and we'd like your four legged friends to stay safe. We usually just allow one but in certain circumstances this maybe flexible, please contact us to ask. No pets are to be left alone in the hut. Little Cowdray Glamping is located in the beautiful leafy village of Thursley, surrounded by miles of stunning scenery, walks, and local wildlife, it’s absolutely perfect for exploring the outdoors. Our farm backs on to the Devils Punchbowl, known for its scenic walks, wild ponies and the odd Highland cow, great if your partial to a bit of mountain biking too, though if you prefer your wheels mud free then why not explore the sweeping surrey hills doing some road cycling instead. Little Cowdray Farm is a working farm run by the family, we have cattle, mainly Herefords and Angus but we also have a small herd of Dexter’s (pint sized cattle), then there’s our resident pet pig Molly who is a Kune Kune and loves a good back scratch or belly rub. We have a small flock of sheep, and free range hens. Why not try some of our freshly laid free range eggs for breakfast?... The shepherd's hut is located on a working farm, so there is usually someone around or close by if you need anything. We will leave our guests to enjoy their break, however we are a friendly bunch so more than happy to show people around, or share local knowledge on things to do and see. There is no public transport directly to or from our village, however several buses run from neighbouring villages. There is plenty of taxi companies of which we can recommend for you. Milford is our closest train station, however we also have Haslemere, Witley, Godalming and Guildford all within a short drive. London is approximately 1hr drive, and Portsmouth/south coast is approximately 50minutes away. You will need to request to book this Shepherds hut, this is because it's is on other booking platforms and we want to ensure it will be available for your stay, we aim to respond to your request as soon as possible.
