This is a architecturally design villa on three floors with 300 square meters, 2 balconies, a huge private garden of 1300 square meters. It has garage, outhouse/ annex and a doll's house in the garden. The villa is built by local material and local wood and is a traditional norwegian villa from the end of the 19th century. It is one of the first houses that was built in the area but is now in 25 min walking distance to downtown Oslo. It has a big flat in the basement with its own entrance. The villa also has a sauna, finnish style, a dining hall that sits 30 people, two fire places in the living room and hallway and one furnace in the living room. It has a piano, a nice book collection and a nice art and antiquities collection. This villa is located in an upmarket residential area very close to the city centre. There are buses and metros outside the doorsted and in the immediate neighbourhood. The villa is 5 minutes walk from the posh city village and residential area called Slemdal, 10 minutes walk from the crossroad and transport hub Smestad with a taxi station and 12 minutes walk from the upmarket city village called Vinderen. All of the three have both metro stations and bus stations. Slemdal has in addition 2 supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, a small shopping mall, fruit market and hairdresser. Smestad has a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, taxi station and a gas station. Vinderen has a bigger shopping mall, wine and spirites store (wine monopoly -Vinmonopolet), several restaurants, 3 bakeries, 2 bookstores, a gas station and wide variety of specialty shops for food, deli, fashion, ironmonger, DIY, flowers, plants, fresh fish (fishmonger), pharmacy, cosmetics, home retailers, interior design and drycleaners. The villa is situated next to a bus stop that takes you straight to downtown in 6 minutes. The bus stop is called Dalsveien and takes you to Majorstuen and from there to Nationaltheatret where there are direct trains to Oslo Airport, Lillestrøm and all other destinations. The villa is situated on the green line between Vinderen and Gressbanen. The bus departs every 15 minutes and more frequently in rush hours. The bus line is called 46 (green line) and leaves from beside the metro stop Majorstuen in a street kalled Valkyriegata. When you go from downtown to the villa you are heading in direction of "Ullerntoppen". When you go from villa to downtown you are heading in direction of "Majorstuen" which is final stop and a major hub for further public transportation across the city and region. Majorstuen is 3 stops from Oslo Central Train Station. Oslo Central Train Station is also known as "Jernbanetorget". The villa is situated 5 minutes walk from the metro stop Slemdal (light blue line). From Slemdal it takes 9 minutes to downtown. Slemdal is on the metro line 1 (light blue line). You take direction Frognerseteren when you go from downtown to villa and direction Bergkrystallen when you go from villa to downtown. The metro to and from Slemdal leaves every 15 minutes. The villa is also situated 10 minutes walk from metro stop Smestad. From Smestad it only takes 3 minutes downtown by metro. Two different metro lines pass by Smestad, 2 (orange line) and 3 (violet line), so the metro to and from Smestad leave every 7 minutes. Both the Slemdal and the Smestad metro lines go straight to Oslo Central Train Station and all other destinations downtown and elsewhere. Slemdal has 2 supermarkets, pharmacy, post office, a small shopping mall, fruit market and hairdresser. Smestad has a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant and a gas station. Nearby Vinderen has a bigger shopping mall, wine and spirites store (wine monopoly -Vinmonopolet), several restaurants, 3 bakeries, 2 bookstores, a gas station and wide variety of specialty shops for food, deli, fashion, ironmonger, DIY, flowers, plants, fresh fish (fishmonger), pharmacy, cosmetics, home retailers, interior design and drycleaners. The bus from Majorstuen to Dalsveien calls at Vinderen on the way (halfway between Dalsveien and Majorstuen).
