Luxury Shepherd Hut - Paultons Park & so much more

Our new luxury Shepherd Hut, "Nellie's Place" is handcrafted locally. Nestled in its own Paddock, it slowly comes into view as you enter via our long driveway. You'll enjoy wonderful views of farmland & our resident horses. Fully insulated & heated, with a shower room & kitchen area. A double sofa bed & bunk beds mean a family of 4 can sleep soundly in this cosy haven. 10 mins to Paultons Park & the New Forest, it's the perfect base to enjoy the MANY local attractions. Located on Birchwood Farm, Ideal for professional individuals, couples and parents with two children. Social distancing is easy here. We have decided to make 2 nights our minimum stay, as everyone who visits, wishes they were staying longer. If you are visiting for Paultons park, take the extra day to relax and enjoy one of the many other activities nearby. We also have a luxury cottage on-site with a 3 night min. Due to extra measures for Covid-19 we now ask all guests to follow the self check-in process, details will be provided once your booking is confirmed. The kitchen area includes a microwave, SMALL fridge, kettle, toaster and electric hot plate. Dishcloth, tea towels etc. along with crockery, cutlery and basics for preparing food are also provided, as well as Tea, coffee and sugar. Please note: There is not an oven. Beds: The double sofa bed pulls out once the table is folded away. The bunks will be made up ready for you. If the bunks are not needed, they can be folded away and turned into a sofa. All Towels and bedding are also provided. Outside you have a private patio with picnic bench, and use of the paddock to allow the children to play. You are also able to wander down to our woodland area where there is a slide, tyre swing, balance beam and trapeze. Secure electric gate entry system - key fob provided. Sorry, but no pets. Smoking allowed on the patio garden area in front of the private family barn. A BBQ and Fire pit are available to rent for a small fee. We have a 13 year old son who you might meet, and a small dog called Tiggy who just loves meeting people. The main thing the farm can offer is a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation. Our local town of Romsey is a short drive away with many restaurants, pubs and takeaway options. With so much to do within an hours drive, you can see and do as much or as little as you wish. Sherfield English is a small, quiet village with many amenities. Local shop and post office with cafe, wonderful pub serving delicious food and real ales. Gilberts Nursery is 300 yards away with tea rooms and array of plants including their famous Dahlia's. The church where Florence Nightingale is laid to rest, is also close by. Only 4 miles to Romsey, where you can stock up in Aldi or Waitrose. You also can also browse the boutiques and enjoy one of the numerous cafe's and/or pubs. Paultons park and the New Forest National Park are 10 minutes away. Southampton and Winchester are within a 30 minute drive. Beautiful beaches are 40 minutes away.
