Chestnut Lodge

Chestnut Lodge is situated in one acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, it was originally the horse stables for the farm. The main barn was purchased and renovated in 1986. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated the Lodge to a luxury standard, keeping all the original character and exposed oak beams throughout. The Lodge is on a quiet lane a perfect base where you can explore Norfolk. There is a fully fitted oak kitchen with open plan lounge/diner, including microware, fridge freezer, electric cooker and cookware. In the living room there is a leather sofa and chairs, glass coffee table, 42" flat screen TV, twolarge double bedrooms both with luxury beds and memory foam mattresses, the luxury feel is complete with designer bed linen. A private courtyard area with outdoor furniture and BBQ facilities where you can relax, and enjoy the your stay. The private gardens, extending to over 1 acre, are safe for the children. I will be available most days. Ideal location to visit Darby's Pub,The George, Brisley Bell, Honingham Buck, Yaxham cafe Dereham is 1.7 miles away, where you'll find all amenities including regular bus services around Norfolk. There is various supermarkets and local shops with free parking.
