The tents has shared kitchen and bathroom as the main wooden house. The tent has mosquito net. This part of Dunabogdany is full of holiday cottages. We do not live here but stay frequently in a different wooden house. Please book the accomodation 2 days before the actual arrival. About our glamping 2x 25 sq canvas -Travel to India tent and Travel to Persia Tent (inside in the wooden house) for nature lovers 15 minutes walk from the bank of Danube river and the downtown of Dunabogdany. Open from May 15-September 30. Nature lovers, sport fans family and pet friendly accomodation with several possibilities of indor and outdoor activity. The place has no noise and airpollution (as in the city of Budapest) and only 40 minutes by bus for Szentendre HEV station or 1 hour from the downtown by direct bus( from Újpest Underground station) Frequent connection. Fully equipped kitchen. Free cofee, tea, Fresh bed linen and towels. Books and maps in several languagages. The property and tents are non-smoking. Bicycle parking facilities, direct route from Budapest. Free car parking in front of the house. Animals friendly accomodation (lakes, bird and bat houses, hedgehogs shelters and bee houses can be found the the garden) You can see 40 years old trees like in the forest. We do not used any materials coming from animals during the constraction and decoration (except carpets) We equipped the camp with low energy consumpton led lamps, A+ refrigerators and low consumption shower heads. Half day: viaferrata trip at Tatabanya(60 km from Budapest) with one or two routes(depends on your physical conditions) routes difficulty C/D with one cable bridges + visiting the cave of Tatabanya + climb up the wiew tower on the top of the Tatabanya hill Program 2. Full day: program 1 + visiting the medivial city of Tata walking around the lake( 7 km) Program 3. Full day: viaferrata trip at Csesznek ( 120 km from Budapest) two routes B/C and C/D + visiting the medivial castle at Csesznek+ 1 km Megazipple at Bakony Adventure Park Program 4. Half day Trekking to the best wiew point of Danuve Curve to Predukaloszek and back at Pilis Mountain( 12 km) From April to October Program 5. Full day: Program 4+ sunbathing and swimming in Danube at Dunabogdany or Kisoroszi depend of the water level in Danube(or thermal bath in Leanyfalu but it is crowded during the summer) Only in summer All prgram only at week days not weekend!!!! Sporty life+ trekking shoes required What to see and do The tiny camp is situated 25 km from Budapest in the hug of Danuce River wich is called magnificent Danube Curve and the foot of the Visegradi Mountains. This countryside called danube Curve (Dunakanyar) is one the most visited region by Hungarians as coming from Budapest you can visit Szentedre ( serb ortodox city), Visegrád (medivial royal castle) and Esztergom (the largest catholic cathedral in Hungary called Esztergom Basilica) which all situated along the Danuce river. Dunabogdány is small town with German minority. Sandy danube river bank 15 minutes walk (swimming, beach volleyball, canoing, pubs and restaurants) Bakery and pastry shop 15 minutes walk Restaurants with wide selection of traditional food 10 minutes walk Forgó restaurant situated neat the sandy beach is very famous. 10 minuts walk : Trout Restaurant 15 minuts walk: Supermarket, Cirpi Winery, Gonduzo Pizzeria, Forgo Etterem and the beach Thermal bath in Leányfalu 10 minutes drive Visegrád 10 minutes drive, Esztergon 30 minutes drive, Szentendre 20 minuts drive Several buses coming to Dunabogdány as it is situated on the main line to Visegrad and Esztergom.
