The vacation home In the commune of Chaspinhac, Département de La Haute Loire (43), Brestilhac is a small, original picturesque heap village, consisting of 18, partly inhabited, houses at an altitude of 810 meters with a unique view of Le Puy-en- 7 km away. Velay and the Auvergne volcanic landscape. In the middle of Brestilhac, the detached granite stone house was lovingly renovated in 2003 and the barn with more than 125 sqm of living space was expanded into a 2-storey apartment. On the ground floor of the apartment there is a spacious entrance area, kitchen, pantry, bathroom and toilet. In the 1st Floor: living room (with fold-out sofa bed, TV, DVD, radio, cassette and CD player) and dining room, 2 rooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds, 1 baby / toddler bed), bathroom, toilet. Electric heating, fenced garden with terrace, parking space, garden furniture and grill. Comfortable and spacious apartment over 2 floors. Brestilhac lies like a falcon nest on a granite hill, high above the beginnings of the Loire Valley with a unique view of Le-Puy-en-Velay in the heart of Auvergne, the largest extinct volcanic landscape in Europe. Time seems to be standing still here. The 'Brestilhacois' bake their own bread in the community's restored oven. The trader comes with seasonal fruits from the area once a week. It is only 13 km by car to Le-Puy-en-Velay, the starting point of the Camino de Santiago. The medieval city with its famous cathedral and the black Madonna will captivate you. The surrounding towns invite you to discover Romanesque architecture. French authenticity and French 'home-style' cuisine with the region's green AOC lentils are all here. Walk on the path of the castles of Auvergne, on the street Lafayettes, on the Way of St. James. Get lost in a unique landscape. Paragliding, climbing and golfing: paragliding and climbing, with the possibility of taking courses and mountain biking on site. The golf courses are within 25 km: Ceyssac 9-hole course; Chambon sur Lignon 18-hole course; Lantiac 14-hole course. Fishing, canoeing and swimming: fishing and canoeing in the Loire 7 km away as well as swimming in the Loire and the volcanic lakes of the area are possible. Walks on foot, on horseback and by bike: endless possibilities for hiking and walking on site. The gîte has plenty of tips for trips. Location and location of the accommodation
