We are an Inn with boutique rooms serving quality food focused on seasonal produce locally sourced and craftfully prepared and cooked. A real Sussex country pub dating from the 17th Century with modern tones. We offer a warm Sussex welcome in the public bar, saloon bar, dining room and two beer gardens; perfect for families looking onto open fields. We also have a working inglenook fire and a wood burner for those cosy winter evenings with a bar billiards table and dart board. 'Charlie's Hut' offers a unique al-fresco hut with a patio heater and benches with a dutch brick drying table. All the guest rooms boast pocket sprung mattresses and egytptian cotton bed linen. All stays include continental breakfast with a cooked breakfast option available on the weekends and free wifi with plenty of character. If you arrive back to the Inn after the pub has closed in the evening there is separate access to the rooms so you can return at any hour. The pub is open all day everyday and there is always someone there to welcome and check you in. Rural pub in village will rustic feel, lots of good walks locally and open fires with garden looking onto field with horses.
