Bucks Green Place Shepherds Hut with Bell Tent

Established shepherds hut combined with one bell tent, sleeps four people comfortably. Located in seven acres of stunning English countryside in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian House with parking. This clever combination gives families an ideal set of options for a glamping experience. This clever combination of shepherd hut and bell tent provides comfortable and dynamic living and sleeping space for the family. Inside the shepherds hut is a dining table and bench seating that converts into a double bed if mum and dad would prefer some peace and quite from the kids outside! The well equipped kitchen facility includes a microwave, toaster, kettle, gas hob, cooking utensils, fridge, crockery and cutlery. The electric wood burner ensures this is the perfect cosy getaway with a BBQ, Chiminea and outdoor seating area . There is a shower room with heated towel rail and hot running water and a compost toilet to respect the natural environment. A large 5m bell tent that comfortably sleeps 4 people is erected outside of the hut. We provide air mattress's, bedding and towels for your comfort and convenience. This idyllic setting is close to both the Surrey Hills and the South Downs with a wealth of walking and cycling opportunities on its doorstep. Our resident alpacas, goats, chickens, ducks and miniature Shetland ponies provide some friendly faces whilst you enjoy the peace and quiet. Guests will have access to 7 acres open pasture, leading onto public footpaths. Access to village tennis courts and private swimming pool can be arranged upon request. We will meet you upon arrival and will be available throughout your stay. Courtesy tea and coffee is provided. Access available to the next-door recreation area and floodlit tennis courts. Within walking distance of the house are four local pubs (varying distances) and a village shop, famous café / cheese shop “The Milk Churn”, Firebird Brewery, post office and pharmacy and plenty of lovely long walks and cycle routes to explore the Sussex/Surrey countryside directly from the house. The market town of Horsham is 15 minutes drive away and is also serviced by a regular bus route. Here you will be spoilt for choice for eating and drinking spots with many chain and independent restaurants and a wealth of shopping opportunities. The award winning Fishers Farm adventure farm park is only a 10 minute drive which offer a fantastic family day out. Close links to London and airports via Horsham and Guildford train stations. The Arriva Guildford to Horsham bus route stops directly outside our property.
