My home is a beautiful 2 bedroom house in the famous tourist village of Edwinstowe. It has a stylish main double bedroom, a smaller double bedroom, designer bathroom, designer office space, front room with TV streaming, kitchen, front patio and a stunning balearic cocktail garden with a built in cinema screen and movie projector you can use to enjoy your favourite Netflix and Amazon movies. All while enjoying a cocktail in front of a log burner under the stars. Minutes walk from Sherwood Forest My space is modern and very comfortable with all mod cons like the latest Apple TV with free Netflix, Prime Video, Spotify and wifi speakers for streaming your favourite music. There is also a beautiful balearic cocktail bar with fire pit and evening garden illumination with an in built cinema screen in the garden and a movie projector to use which is wonderful to watch your favourite Netflix and Amazon movies outside whilst having a cocktail next to the log burner. The balearic cocktail bar and cinema garden also has the very latest 'Phillips Hue' lighting system so you can choose an infinite number of ambient and atmospheric colour settings ranging from colourful Tokyo and Soho to beautiful and peaceful Night Sky, Frozen Lake and Tropical Sunset. These are just a few examples of the Phillips Hue outdoor lighting system as it literally has an infinite amount of colour options to set the scene from a cosy cinema night with the family, to a relaxing cocktail and glass of wine with friends or just the two of you. You, your friends and your family will sure to love the Balearic cocktail bar with outdoor cinema/projector, fire pit and the Phillips Hue lighting experience. At the front there is also a lovely Spanish tiled 'al fresco' seating patio with flowered borders and hanging baskets. perfect for breakfasts to start the day. I have two double bedrooms. The first is a stylish main bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and 3 mile views over the fields and canopy of the legendary Sherwood Forest nature reserve. The second is a small bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and fitted wardrobes along with a wall mounted I pad to watch Netflix and amazon in bed or for the kids to watch there favourite fun content before resting for sleep. I also have a lovely new corner sofa bed (double) in the lounge. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests in total. I also have a brand new designer bathroom suite recently modelled and fitted along with a modern kitchen with all appliances like dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave and all utensils needed. For guests needing to work from home while away I have a beautifully designed ambient office space with two 27" monitors, a key board, mouse and mat, lap top frame and two apple speakers with Siri activation along with a super fast wifi broadband speed of 35mbps. (please ask in advance to use the office space) To compliment this I have national bike/walking path that starts at the foot of my house and goes deep into the forest on amazing trails passing through rivers, lakes, stately homes and many historical points. To help guests enjoy this I have two good mountain bikes to rent out for £25.00per bike, per day, so all my guests have the opportunity to see this stunning nature reserve in all of its glory. Please let me know if you are interested in the additional mountain bike hire and I will prepare the bikes. Highly recommended!! All guests have a key safe facility and check in is easy. I'm mostly there to go through everything with my guests and explain the area, the house and its facilities, how to use them and how to make the most of them. I'm happy to give my guests a drive around to show them their options to enjoy while staying in the Sherwood Forest Nature Reserve. I'm mostly there to greet my guests and I'm available for any questions and queries with 24/7 support to make sure my guests have as great a time as possible My place is literally and instantly bordering fields and trees leading within minutes into the forest. In 5 minutes you saddle a river that is beautifully lined with trees. This takes you into the forest (also a great place to swim in the summer) either to sherwood pines or Sherwood Forest nature reserve. My home is also very close to stunning attractions such as centre parcs (1.5 mile away) rufford abbey (2 miles away) thoresby hall (4 miles away) climber park (7mikes away) sherwood pines (1.5 miles away) Sherwood Forest nature reserve literally starts on my doorstep and is a 5 minutes walk away. I’m also a 1 minute drive/10 minute walk to the village centre where there is an historical and picturesque high street offering a bistro, French restaurant, an asian fusion restaurant, a brand new smart canteen and bar, and a traditional teak pub bar and restaurant in keeping with the area which is beamed and full of character. There is also a brand new lovely coffee lounge and bistro converted in the old library, a cake shop, a sweet shop, gift shops, 3 Chinese takeaways an Indian take away, Turkish kebab takeaway and a good old fish and chip shop. There is also a post office on the high street with a good sized coop for amenities. My home is in a very quite spot in the village overlooking fields, trees, rivers, Sherwood pines and the start of Sherwood Forest nature reserve. Warmly, Cory There are busses direct from Nottingham city centre about 17 miles away, Mansfield about 8 miles, Worksop about 8 miles, Newark about 10 miles away, Retford about 7 miles away. The nearest train station is Mansfield woodhouse about 4 miles away. (If you get here and need a lift to the house let me know and if I can I will pick you up and take you back) there are also train stations in Worksop, Mansfield, Notts, Retford, Newark etc where you can get busses or taxis to edwinstowe. I’m about a 2 minute drive from centre parch, 35 to Nottingham, 10 minutes from the A1 (Ollerton and Sherwood Forest junction) 15 minutes drive to Mansfield, 15 minutes to Worksop, 20 minutes to Retford and 25 minutes to Newark. The nearest airports are Robin Hood airport which is 25 minutes away and East Midlands airport which is 40 minutes away by car. Coming up and down the country by train you can get close to my home travelling the east coast train line (newark and retford) or the you can use the alternative north south train line that gets you into Nottingham where you can connect to Mansfield woodhouse every hour. When travelling up and down the country I’m. approximately 10 minutes from the A1 and 20 minutes from the m1 at junction 27. There taxis available in edwinstowe itself. The taxi tank is called abbey taxis and the number is (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) All other major train stations have taxis near by If you have any further question you need to ask please reach out on the message option and contact me. Warmly, Cory There is always coffee with a coffee filter/cafeteria to use and tea for refreshments, free WiFi (password behind the router) and towels provided. Also I supply things for guests incase they forget them such as olive oil, rice, salt pepper, sometimes breakfast cereal. In the bathroom I also supply shower gel and shampoo/soap in case guests forget theirs. Anything else in the bathroom is available to use if you need to. For an amazing view and experience of the forest nature reserve I have two mountain bikes that I rent for £25.00 per day and I'm very happy to give you all my local knowledge of all the tracks, rivers, lakes, cathedrals, stately homes, castles and breathtaking parts inside the forest, all of which are accessible on bike. Defiantly the best way to see the forest, the village and explore the area at large. You also have Netflix, and other apps for entertainment to use on my latest Apple TV player. The balearic cocktail bar and garden has evening lights with an infinite amount of colour settings and scenes to choose from and is wonderful to spend time out under the stars at night. It has an in built cinema screen where you can use my user friendly movie projector to enjoy all your favourite Netflix and Amazon movies. All while enjoying a cocktail next to a lovely fire pit under the stars. All the padding for the seating can be found in the garden storage behind the cinema screen to the left. To the front there is a lovely Spanish tiled al fresco seating patio with flowered borders and hanging baskets. perfect for breakfasts to start the day. Any other questions please feel free to ask.
