Red Rock House

Situated at the center of Leonidio, under the breathtaking & stunning Red Rocks, just 5 minutes walk from the main square of the village and the shops, cafes and restaurants. Our home is a full functioned property of 750sq.m. The house itself is 131sq.m. with an open floor plan. It contains a fully equipped kitchen, 1 full bath, 3 bedrooms and 3 terraces all around to relax and enjoy your coffee or a glass of wine. The big marble fire-place at the living room, creates a cosy and warm atmosphere. Amenities: Bed Linen Towels, Terraces, air condition units in all areas of the house, central heating, which also provides hot water for the entire house, Solar water heating system and also electric water heating system, Wi-Fi, free private parking space for at least 2 cars. Bathroom: Iron Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, Washing Machine, toilet, shower, bathtub, mirror, Drying Rack. Bedroom: Queen size bed; Bedroom: Queen size vintage bed; Kitchen: Cookware Kitchen Utensils, kettle, oven, espresso machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, plates, glasses, pot & pans, fridge / freezer, dining table. Living room: TV. All around the house there is a garden area of trees (like orange and lemon trees) and plants, such as lavender and primrose. The guests have all the property at their disposal (house, garden, terracies etc). The only place that they will have no access is the basement which is currently used as a storage facility. Guests will have complete and independent access to the house, the entire property is in their hands. In other words, everything that can help you relax and enjoy your vacation. We will be happy to host you and help with any information or tips about the region. Our aim is to make your stay as pleasant as possible and we are always happy to advise or assist you in any concerns you may have prior or during your stay. Leonidio has many unique features that will make your stay a wonderdul experience: * Easter at Leonidio - in selected positions on the top of the mountains there were the “fryktories”, which was a system of message transmission at a long distance by using lighted torches. The tradition says that in this way came the news to Mycenae for the fall of Troy. In the echo of this ancient telecommunication practice the night of the Resurrection, the residents of Leonidio lit up hundreds of multi coloured large balloons, which leave them to fly on the sky, the moment where the priests chant “Christ is risen”. *Rock Climbing in Leonidio - You are most welcome to visit our beautiful village and experience the stunning cliffs surrounding Leonidio. Currently there are more than 1000 routes across a wide range of grades, and there is still potential for many more. We invite you to explore Leonidio crags available for all types of adventure seekers and enjoy climbing! *The Feast of Aubergine - In the region of Leonidio grows also the famous tsakonian aubergine. It is established for years, the last ten days of August to organize the feast of aubergine. The Municipality of Leonidio organizes in Plaka, a traditional feast where the traditional dances of the area are revived. The program includes also cooking contest with foods where their dominant material is the famous tsakonian aubergine, which distinguishes because it is the only one with sweet taste. *Melitzazz - Melitzazz festival is a colorful, multi-national gathering of cultures, in the capital of Tsakonia, Leonidio. Invited artists and chefs convey the atmosphere of their places, contributing to the celebration with music, dance, culture and tastes.
