Abbey Farm is a 25 acre small holding on the Leicestershire, Warwickshire border, near Hinckley, 20 mins south of Leicester. The farm boast a small flock of sheep and a chance to fill your lungs with fresh air, whilst you enjoy staying in a safe, private and rural location, but within easy reach of Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry and major event locations. Dogs welcome for an additional charge £5 per dog p.n. This cottage has the option of an adjoining extra two bed room. Inquire for details. We offer self catering accommodation, with en-suite shower and kitchen for leisure or business. Price based on one person £60, £100 for two people sharing per night. Guests can access the farm surroundings, take a walk in the fields, grab some apples and pears in the orchard (in season), and take in the tranquility of the lake. Abbey is a working farm and family business, Jess and Steve live in the main house and will be around and about should you need them throughout your stay. Wolvey is a quiet village just outside the market town of Hinckley. Wolvey has great transport links, and is close to many major cities in the midlands and makes a great base for exploring the region. It’s also very convenient for business travelers working on short term contracts and can be a home from home, with private parking, a secure location and ease to come and go as your timings require. Close to the M69, M6, M1 makes getting around from Abbey easy, for those wanting to travel by train, Hinckley or Nuneaton train stations are a short car or taxi journey away. The cottage can be set up as two twin singles or as one superking bed. There is also the option to open an additional adjoining room for families or larger groups.
