Coco’s Hillside Hideaway

This is a basement walkout studio apartment inside our home with private access via side door or though the garage and directly to the unit. Other than check in you would never need to see us! We are close (about .5 mile walk downhill) to downtown Brunswick, home to Smoketown Brewery and Boxcar Burgers. We are convenient to the C&O Canal, Appalachian Trail, Harper’s Ferry, the MARC Train, Amtrak and 12 miles to Frederick. The Hive Bakery is .25 or less. The Library is just up the street. Our house is unique in downtown Brunswick, it’s one of the newest houses, a tall cape cod style with a beach look. It’s 4 stories counting the walk out basement. While most listings in Brunswick have stairs this walkout unit has only one step from the garage into the home and no stairs for the guest unless they care to use the kitchen upstairs. We are situated in the older part of the town, near the beautiful new library and not far from the bakery. Further away, about 1/2 mile is the downtown Main Street area with Smoketown brewery, Boxcar burger joint, Potomac Street Grill and Beans in the Belfry. The unit has a full size refrigerator and freezer, stackable washer and dryer, coffee maker and microwave. Heavier meal preparation can take place in the main kitchen if you’d like to socialize. The bed is a day bed (twin) with high quality mattress and the trundle is hidden under the day bed (also a twin) and can be heightened to match the day bed. Suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult and one child.
