This pleasant, deceptively spacious bungalow is on the eastern outskirts of Great Barton village. It is 4 miles east of historic Bury St Edmunds; famous for its twice weekly street market and the Cathedral’s new tower. Re-gained 4 stars and gold award from Quality in Tourism this year. We charge £25 extra for a pet. You will find it an excellent base for exploring East Anglia (UK’s driest area). Ideal for country lovers, walking and cycling; it takes about one hour to drive to the coast. Accommodation is all ground floor, suitable for older and less mobile guests, part-time wheelchair users (mobility level 2) and hearing impaired (level 1). Central heating by gas, and fitted carpets in the bedrooms. Linen, towels and power included in the price with wireless internet access at no extra charge. Fully equipped for 8 people. Adequate provision for small children, with 2 cots. There are 4 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a double bed and built in wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, which can be joined to make a superking size. There are built in wardrobe and drawers and an en suite shower room. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds which are full size, 3 feet wide mattresses, and wardrobe and desk. There is a blackout blind at the window. Bedroom 4 has a king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table and an en suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom with a separate low tray shower and a bath. The shower is 900mm square, hand rails inside and a shower stool. There are rails over the bath and around the toilet, and we can provide a seat raiser for the toilet. We have various aids for disabled people and lots of equipment for babies and toddlers - please ask, we like to help. Large enclosed back garden with sunny and shaded areas to relax or play. Bench seat under pergola and swing seat on lawn. Double garage and off road parking for up to 4 vehicles at the front on paved driveway. Sloping concrete path around the side of the bungalow to access back garden and patio. Some outdoor games and toys available, also barbeque. Manager usually available in case of problems and will visit after you arrive to make sure all is well. Wylene is situated about 300 yards off the A143 and 3 miles from the A14. Filling station / convenience store ½ mile Pub with food 300 yards. You can get a bus into Bury St Edmunds from the bus stop near the pub, about 400 yards away. We request no smoking inside the dwelling. On the rear patio there is a cigarette disposal box.
