Bright and airy cottage with modern interior in peaceful village just 3 miles from Southwold. Situated off the A12 for easy access to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Norfolk Broads and only 1 mile from Latitude music festival. Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire. Our modern cottage is small but perfectly formed, full of natural light and has a sunny garden, perfect for summer BBQs and al fresco dining. The downstairs space comprises an entrance hall, well-equipped kitchen with two-person breakfast bar and a serving hatch through to the main living area. The lounge is an open plan space with large French doors opening onto a decking terrace. The living space has a sofa and comfy chair, a wall-mounted TV and a fold away dining table and chairs for those cosy nights in. Moving upstairs, there's a double bedroom, a children's bedroom with bunk beds and a modern fitted shower room with mirrored cupboard. The back garden comprises a raised decking area with outdoor dining table and chairs, a lawn area and a BBQ zone around the side of the house. Please enquire for bike hire. We have an off-road, allocated parking space in a private parking area to the back of the property. The cottage is a 7 min (or a 15 minute cycle ride) drive to Southwold for the beach, pier, harbour, lighthouse and Adnams brewery. We offer adult bike hire if you want to explore by bike, with the picturesque national cycle route 31 to check out nearby. There’s also a bus stop 30m from the cottage with busses to Southwold and the market town of Beccles (for the Norfolk Broads). There are also some idyllic countryside walks, long or short, in the neighbouring village of Uggeshall. Please note our property is suitable for up to 2 adults and up to 2 children - the second bedroom is kitted out with bunk beds so is suitable for children only.
