The loft
Located on the first floor in our barn conversion and across the garden from the main house, this once was the maid's quarters. Renovated with style, this room is comfortable, cosy and romantic. Live like a local! Enjoy the best of Irish hospitality and French cuisine! Join in on one of our cookery days with/without market visit with Sinéad, your bi-lingual host. Sinéad has been running onsite cookery courses for 14 years with market tours, cider tastings, cookery classes and after class meals. A passionate foodie she loves sharing her 27 year experience of Normandy with her guests. Breakfast is always a moment to chat and plan the day. Served in the boulangerie (built in 1789 and renovated in 2019), the garden, or in your bedroom, your host, Sinéad is usually pottering around somewhere, and will help set you in the right direction, armed with maps, itineraries, restaurant ideas and/bookings. Off the beaten track, in the grounds of our 18th century farmhouse, this room is a little gem. Proximity to historical sites, farmer's markets, beautiful beaches We highly recommend a car, bike, horse. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in your room. A breakfast basket is dropped at your door in the morning so you can decide where you’d like to dine - in the garden, the boulangerie or in your room. Onsite cookery courses available on demand.
