Happy Place Gödenstorf

Our Happy Place is located 40km south of Hamburg near the A7, 20km from Lüneburg. Seven years ago, our family decided to move from Hamburg to the country. Since then Gödenstorf has become our Happy Place. In 2017, we decided to build an apartment in our farm roof and share our Happy Place with guests. Our Shetland ponies, and our three children, are looking forward to taking our guests along for the ride. The apartment consists of an open kitchen/living room and dining room space, a spacious bathroom (with shower) and three bedrooms. The apartment was renovated in 2018 and has a new underfloor heating. The apartment has its own entrance, which can be reached directly from the courtyard via a staircase. The Happy Place Gödenstorf is surrounded by great recreational opportunities. The Wildpark Lüneburger Heide, the event area of Luhmühlen or the Barfuß Park in Eyendorf can all be reached by bike. The Heidepark Soltau, the Snowdome Bispingen or the kart track are half an hour's drive away. The inner cities of Hamburg and Lüneburg can be reached in half an hour. Shops are located in nearby Salzhausen 3km away. You can park your car on our farm. A bus to Lüneburg or Winsen Luhe drives by right outside our front door. In case of gluten intolerance, we will gladly bake delicious gluten-free rolls for our guests upon request.
